I'm on my third week after surgery to remove endometrial tissue and have a mirena coil inserted. I'm still getting bleeding and period pain, does anyone know if this is normal at this stage, or if I should be worried?

Hey! I hope you feel better soon! I had my coil fitted prior to surgery and bled for about a month solid after. Was uncomfortable and horrible but GP advised me it was normal. If you’re worried and bleeding more than usual then I would contact your GP. Sending you love!
I had the exact same procedure I bled for 4 months then stopped and haven’t had a period for almost 2 years now... however I do spot now and them and I still get period pains often! I also have nerve damage so that contributes to a lot of the pain but yeah bleeding is normal it just takes a while for everything to settle! I hope you are doing okay just remember you’ve got this 🙌🏻x
