Irregular bleeding after coil removal. Help

I had the mirena coil removed at the start of August ( a year after I got it put in) to try for a baby. It's now October (over 3 months after it was removed), but no luck yet.

Straight after the coil was removed I bled for around a week/ 8 days. In September my period was 9 days long and just now in October I'm currently on day 12 of my period. Is this normal for my period to be like this after having the coil removed? Or has anyone else had this problem too?

What was your menstrual pattern before the IUS insertion ? If you had heavy or irregular menses before the IUS was inserted, this may recur.
