Suspected endo?

Hi all, I’ve been suffering for many years with pain! So I have a 12 year old son and after him I had the mirena coil put in because most pills didn’t work for me I’d bleed really heavy for weeks and be in so much pain, tried the injection also didn’t suit so only option apparently was the coil, 8 years later I decided to have another so had it out and since having it out I’ve notice how much more pain I’ve been in especially during intercourse, I now have a 2 year old and a 7 month old I went to GP after I had my 2 year old for the pain I was in the referred me to gyne which took that long for an appointment I feel pregnant before I had it so was then told they couldn’t do anything if I was having a baby, however we are now 7months on from that baby and have just had an appointment where in the examination was told they could feel anything wrong so will get a scan done (however if it’s endo behind my uterus they might not see it) and then mentioned to have camera look in but that’s incrediably high risk with COVID so best option is to just have the coil but back in! I’ve read a lot of the horror stories with the coil and it now worries me. We don’t know what the scan will say but if it comes back clear I don’t know whether to insist on having a more in-depth look rather than the coil because I’d rather know exactly what is going on so I know how to deal with it. Because from the stories I’ve read I’ve got more symptoms relating to endo than I first thought (bloating, shoulder pain, IBS-which medication did not work for) I currently only have about 10days of the month where I’m not bleeding but an still bloated suffering from pain and exhaustion which I’ve also been told is suspected fibromyalgia and insomnia. I just don’t know what to do, doctors don’t have the time to actually listen to all the things wrong and they don’t seem to notice the similarities of them all together.

Sorry for the long message just really desperate for advice!

I have had the coil for the last 10 years I started off with the copper coil, but then had to change it to the merina coil due to endometriosis . I never had a problem with the coil as such but had it removed when I had my first laparoscopy. Since then my endometriosis got really bad and after my second laparoscopy I had the the merina coil inserted again, to help me with my period and pain management , this only worked for about 3 months , I don’t have a period but have irregular bleeding and the endo has grown and spread the pain is so unbearable, like I said I don’t have a period but have a lot of pain . I have serve endo and am currently wait to see a bowel surgeon. I hope this helps and hope u feel better soon .
