High heart rate since mirena iud removal
Has anyone else experienced this? It’s been 2 weeks since I had mine removed and I seem to be having a hard time getting my heart rate to act nice since. I was very well controlled on 25 mg a day of metropolol until this , hardly any pvcs any more ( which is still the case thank goodness) I have increased

Mirena Coil Removal
Hi, I’ve had the mirena coil for a few years now but would like it to be removed. I went to my GP a few months ago to ask for it to be removed and they said that I have to go back and see a gynaecologist for it to be removed as they won’t be able to do it due to the fact I had the coil inserted whilst

Mirena coild removed, scan showing still there
Bt of back story, long term mirena user but after having it replaced during surgery last year i had horrendous pain. Went to hospital where had to have it removed as it was coming out, at the same time a new one was put in. A week later still in pain i went back and had it removed. Both times awake

Chances of false negative?
I feel like I'm at a total loss. I had a laparoscopy for endometriosis in January, they found nothing. They fitted me with a mirena coil, said that would help my symptoms even without an endo diagnosis, I was told things would settle in a couple months. Except we're now in September and it's the same

Marina coil. Removed and best my arthritis has been for years
My friend had a marina coil and within months was being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I did a bit of Internet searching and as a result had mine removed about 3 or 4 years ago. I then stopped my medication and although I wouldnt say I'm cured I haven't had a flare up in my knees since. I have just recently

Recently had a laparoscopy but found no endo or cause for pain, what next?
Hi everyone, I had an emergency diagnostic laparoscopy on 30th July 2020 and a Mirena coil fitted. My surgeon found no endometriosis or any cause for my physical pain, just that my bowel seemed a little full. The coil seems to have made things worse. I'm so lost and I don't know where to go from here

Bio identical progesterone for endo treatment and cell-active DIM with calcium D-glucarate (food supplement) to get rid of excess estrogen??
Hi, I've had a horrible 2.5 years trying various contraception pills, mirena and vaginal ring to control my endo pain and periods but I've had very bad mood swings + cervix bleeding from too much estrogen due to taking the pill. I don't want to take any more contraception pills. I did some research

Help with blood results
So, the endo is happy with my T3 and T4. Mid to upper range. However I still suffer from bloating, hair loss and fairly rapid pulse (90 bpm) . I take 50mcg levo and 1 grain Thai NDT. I had my iron checked in June 19. GP told me that my levels were ‘normal’. I’ve recently had the Mirena coil removed

“No convincing evidence”
I’ve just been told that I have “no convincing evidence of endometriosis” from my MRI results. However my results were: -uterosacral ligament fibrosis - uterosacral ligament adhesions - cervix displacement (to the right) - vaginal and rectal adhesions -enlarged ovaries Is it just me or does this

Non hormonal endometriosis ‘treatments’
Does anyone have experience/options of non hormonal endo ‘treatments’, that can help with cysts mainly? I didn’t suffer with cysts until a couple of years ago, but they seem to be becoming more regular. I had surgery in October to remove 2, and I now have 2 growing back. They’re small, and not an issue

Hypergastric plexus block/injection near spine
I have an appointment for a hypergastric plexus block which is an injection of steroid and anaesthetic near the spine for chronic paid. Has anyone had this? If so what was your experience? Did it help? Short story is that I have suffered from constant non-cyclical pelvic pain since I had emergency surgery

Mirena Coil, Awful Cramps
Good afternoon! Hope you're all well :) I just had a question about the Mirena - I had mine put in 2 weeks ago during my laparoscopy. I know there are meant to be cramps and whatnot with them so I was fully prepared for the uncomfortableness that would ensue. But this is worse than when I had my endo

Seeking second opinion from specialist centre due to confusing diagnosis
Hi, I have managed to get my GP to refer me to a specialist endometriosis centre. Unfortunately no clinic appointments are currently available on the online self booking system so am waiting for a call back from the clinic. I had also asked my consultant gynaecologist to refer me to the specialist centre

Other options than mirena coil?
I am asking for some advice, I was first diagnosed with Endo in 2015 via laparoscopy where it was discovered on my bowel amongst other places and the coil was inserted. I also already have the implant but I was told to keep that in. After some months still had pain as well as new issues with my bowel

Help for a newbie in despair!?!
Hi, I’m new here... had a large dermoid cyst removed along with the ovary and endo diagnosis in April. I’m feeling pretty deflated after appointment with endo specialist who pretty much said we can try a few things but there are no guarantees with anything, and we need to rule out symptoms being psychosomatic
