How do you know you have torn glutes?
How can you tell if you have torn glutes or if they are just achy from exercise or too deep a
massage
? Thank you.

Once again… flare or no flare?
I wasn’t sure if a vigorous
massage
had set it off or if I was overdoing the exercise and had aggravated my cervical spondylitis. My markers showed nothing up (they haven't since starting on pred) and I wasn’t experiencing stiffness or aching first thing in the morning.

Have I made a mistake
Then the penny dropped, I no longer have
massage
as it could affect the muscles/dons etc. Did I make a mistake seeing an osteopath, could I have caused a flare. All that hands on pummelling on the painful area. The lady had all my health history and knew I had PMR.

Refused PIP
I use hemp cream to help ease pain, I have a
massage
belt that warms up and massages my lower back. I have infrared
massage
gun to help ease some pain. I have a bath with magnesium flakes to help ease the pains. My knee caps dislocate sometimes I was told that can be part of fibromyalgia.

No Pain
My Podiatrist prescribed
massage
cream and showed me how to do some stretches. In the meantime I had to see my Rheumatologist who said that the pain in my feet is associated with RA. So she now prescribed MTX 10mg/wk. My problem is that I do not have constant pain or other symptoms.

Oooops, I did it again
It came about like this… oooh, the sun is shining… I must get out… puts on running gear for a walk… feels tired and stiff… maybe a stretch first… browses YouTube… clicks on cool looking monk guy… copies him (looking less cool)… getting into it… feeling my flow… zoning out… oooh, an ear
massage
… nice!

on holiday and a hard lesson learned with this disease.
I intend to drop back down to 4mg week 3 of our holiday as we’re cruising back to the UK, so plenty of time to recover, yoga, Pilates,
massage
, spa etc . I then plan to follow the dead slow taper once I’ve recovered from the holiday 🤞 Any thoughts welcome

Medicare coverage for massage or acupuncture in PD?
Has anyone had Medicare with a supplement pay for massages or acupuncture due to stiffness caused by PD? (especially in the neck/shoulders).What can be deemed “medically necessary”?

Eustachian tube disorder/congestion on one side...causing tinnitus.
I've had intermittent relief from a range of things including neck
massage
and things that clear my sinuses such as saunas, swimming, long fresh air walks, any time I've had a temperature and sometimes from exercise, etc.

Home from Neuro
I may make an appt and go back for an adjustment and maybe a
massage
...decisions. My yearly MRI was also ordered and about 30-45 mins after I got home from my appt the scheduling dept called me and I have an appt in a few weeks. This time it will be only 2 scans instead of 3.

Devil's Claw alternative medication
I use Turmeric
massage
oil which does offer some relief for a while. We have a local health care shop who has prescribed Devil's Claw which I have been taking for two weeks. I do believe it is helping. My dose is two tablets, one in the morning and one at night. I am sleeping a little better.

Hypothyroid muscle aches
Now I am still exercising hard, and using a
massage
gun on my leg muscles most days. However after maybe 6 months of treatment I still have the muscle aches and problems standing and walking. In the morning I have to stretch my thighs and groin muscles before I can stand up straight.

Tingling and pricking
Massage
helps. It does not correspond to a taper withdrawal period. Over previous months I had this a few times at night when my whole body seemed to prick and tingle but it was gone by the morning. I put it down to lower doses of pred. I am now on 1.5mg after 3 years for GCA and a bit of PMR.

knee relief
has anyone found a device to help with knee pain, eg heat/
massage
device? My osteoarthritis in my knees has got progressively worse over the last few months and I struggle to stand up from a sitting position.
