Hello, I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage with two coils fitted in my brain which also resulted in a pulmonary embolism. Am i able to have an Indian head massage and hand reflexology?

There are different levels of intensity so maybe ask for the more gentle treatment initially. I'm sure the massage can be tailored to suit.

I had this years ago (free at the Christie hospital) and it was really gentle, but wonderfully relaxing. It was around 2 years post coiling for SAH.

Hope you enjoy the experience Suey, plus the reflexology, and find both beneficial.

If still i doubt maybe speak with the Headway team on 0808 800 2244...

Hi Cat, thank you for the advice. I had my injury in July this year so perhaps it is a bit too soon to be having this. I will try calling headway again, Suey

Hi how soon after your injury did you have the head massage? I only had mine in July this year so a little apprehensive, suey
