I went to an Alfie Boe concert last night and it was great. Even danced! How lovely it is to be waited on and no tidying up. Tomorrow it’s a facial and massage. My husband had a great idea for a treat. Lol

That sounds wonderful. Really lovely treat from hubby. I really like him but can’t get hubby interested unfortunately x

Really worth seeing he did rock music not just classical. We’ve seen a few shows and done Wembley concerts, Best concert was Queen but oddly enough our Council does really great concerts in the castle gardens and Jools Holland lives locally and has done the music in church. That is amazing as a building built in the 12th century has super acoustics. My niece is on stage in the West End so we’ve had a few performers tickets ! Nothing like real music performed live.

How lucky you are to be able to have danced! My husband took me to Norfolk for a short break a few weekends ago, to see someone I watch on You Tube singing at a hotel but sadly all I could do was tap my stick on the floor! I used to love dancing. Now it's just watching others sadly, but at least I got there which was an achievement in itself!!

You’re right and I’m lucky the meds work, but CKD means I can’t dance all night. I looked around and thought how lucky I was to get up and dance. It is an achievement to just have the courage to get out of our comfort zones sometimes. Xxx

What a wonderful treat from your husband. I really like Alfie Boe...and always remember him singing...'Bring him home'...which brings tears to my eyes. Dancing too, so an all round great time. 😀

Michael Ball is touring next year too. I was due to go to concert five years ago but had an AKI so missed them. So playing catch up. Alfie Boe said they are touring again but still finalising details.
