Massage & Lupus meds
However, I have recently had steroids and started Azathioprine, so I'm not sure if it's okay to have a
massage
with oils etc. Can anyone confirm that it is safe to proceed with a
massage
? Thanks so much in advance. 😊

Now what??
Just been to see sports
massage
about 1. My back pain despite seeing a chiropractor for last 2 years, wanted a second opinion and 2. New heel pain since upping running distance. Outcome- it’s not my back as such, it’s my extreme flat feet and misaligned pelvis.

Listen to music, take a bubble bath, get a
massage
, treat yourself. Being kind to yourself helps to reduce anxiety. - 15) Talk to a friend, support group or professional. You may be fortunate enough to have a friend with a sympathetic ear who can listen to you.

Sports massage
I have finally made an appointment with a sport
massage
therapist for the first time. Partly because I want a second opinion about my back and partly because as my training runs are getting longer in preparation for my half marathon, I’m getting more niggles which I would like ironed out.

Resting - not from life but from running
I had a session with the sports
massage
therapist this week which, although painful, seems to have helped a bit as walking is less sore than it was. I have another
massage
booked for next week then I am hoping to be able to take part in the Bristol 10k on the 13th.

The amazing London2Brighton Challenge: a novel 😀🐮
The sports
massage
people tried to help her, but she and her running partner withdrew at that stage. I really hope she's ok! I gave myself more plasters, some dry socks, and a fresh t-shirt. I put on my long-sleeved top under that too.

Compression massage machine
On Amazon I have seen a VEIN ANGELAIR compression
massage
machine and am thinking of ordering this. Have any of you fellow suffers seen or got one of these? If so what do you think about it? I would be grateful for your thoughts.

Will deep tissue massage helps?
Another friend suggested about deep tissue
massage
( http://gesund.ca/
massage
-therapy/deep-tissue-relaxation-
massage
/ ) which can reduce my pain. He suggested from a clinic in Toronto. But actually, I don't know much about this. Actually will this help in reduction of the pain?

13 weeks and counting, Second bout of BP
Electrical stim, vitamins,
massage
, ice, heat, acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments have been my weapons of choice with no relief from any of it. Family, friends and co-workers have been great but it only goes so far, they say it looks better, but I see myself and hear myself.

Baby steps...
I had my 2nd sports
massage
earlier this week and my leg had felt much better, I was walking normally without pain for a change. Decided to try a short run/walk today in advance of my 10k event on Sunday.

Tight calves it’s a warning!
So plan of action is, rest, hot water bottle and
massage
to calf. Then yoga poses, then back to week one ...again , round three! Osteopath is a runner so very understanding and said lots of hamstring stretching and yoga before and after run. Happy bank holiday everyone 😊

Blowing one's top
I tried soothing the rls symptoms with my
massage
device, but to no real effect. Finally, at about 5 a.m. I made myself a couple of open sandwiches (cheese and cucumber - lovely), and after clearing out all the crumbs in the bed, manage to get to sleep, and overslept until 10 a.m.
