I’m not so sure about the massage as she’s not fussy WHERE she massages or if she happens to extend her claws now and them but the heat is quite soothing.
Bet you are all loving today for runnjng.... so much cooler. Wish I was out there too.
I got myself all organised this morning, with my carrier bag hung in one of my crutches containing my book, phone, sunglasses, sun cream, made my coffee in travel mug and went out to my sunlounger then an hour later came in again as I was too chilly.
Back on the couch with my cat and book. But it is a relief it being cooler. They forecast rain today so enjoy your running and I’m with you all in spirit. 😁👍

Ooooh lovely. My cat is always waiting in the hall way after I finish my runs. He’s a mummy’s boy. 😻 Think he’s getting bored waiting now that the runs are taking longer!
Lovely and cool today - we’ve even had a few spots of rain. Definetly better at running in the cool - always my best times.
She is isnt she? I have to control myself not to fill the house with them. But I have a very needy Snow Bengal / Birman X boy who likes to spray ( even though he’s been snipped) when he gets stressed so I think more kitties would push him over the edge. He is already a bit OCD and does his little circuit of the house in exactly the same order several times a day and hates it if I move furniture. He’ll loop round and round if anything is out of place. He’s beautiful though so I let him off.
Ahhh yeah they can be needy and have their funny little ways but they’re gorgeous and we love them. I have a beautiful 18 year old girl who is struggling with arthritis bless her x
Oh I had an elderly tuxedo cat with arthritis and thyroid issues and eventually dodgy ticker from the thyroid issues before medication. We had her for 19 years and even though she had to struggle to get up near the end as soon as my younger son entered the room she was up and over to him. They had such a bond from day one till 19 years later.
Haha, snow Bengals and their spraying, fighting, bin raiding, annoying the neighbours, yelling, tell me about 'em! Mine's a rescue mind you, from a hoarding situation (someone really had a thing about Bengals... I had two of them (t'other's a brown spotted), there were countless others)
Just had some jolly good exercise this morning trying to find the brown spotted for routine vet trip (along with safely boxed snow) In the end I grabbed the nearest due for vax cat (spit of the one the photo, proper tabby moggy) instead.
My tabby is a mackerel tabby and her dad was a Turkish van - (glad she got the tabby markings though not his )but she loves water like her dad. Not caught her swimming but she loves the neighbours paddling pools, our pond fountain , my sink, shower etc.
She even learnt to turn my flip mixer tap on and I’d find the tap running where the two of them had been drinking. So I changed to knobs on the handles instead of the flip ones. She was most annoyed!! But now she taps the spout so that the few drops of water that stays in the spout dribbles out.
Such a clever girl, very vocal much more than the Bengal boy, and loves to play catch and will leap and hit knotted crisp packets back at you - very accurate. She’ll play for hours which is great fun but not so good if you are lying on the settee with a streaming cold and absentmindedly throw a used tissue at the bin....... as my daughter found out when it was intercepted in midair and pelted right back at her head.
You have a lovely cat Limberlou, I also have a cat, he gives me a cuddle just before I start my runs and another cuddle when I come back, whether it's a cycle run or whatever run I do on C25K.
One of the reasons I just about never do a run straight from the house is that I have a Burmilla x Ocicat (aka the bossycat) who would come with us and get off his territory.
Nothing to do with living on a steep hill, nothing.
Now, that is a very fine cat indeed! (Well, every cat is to me!) 🙂🐱🐱😍
Sorry to hear you have been put on the IC. It’s so frustrating I know but as Oldfloss always says - running will always be here for you- don’t rush back before you get better. That cat is gorgeous (mad cat lady here!)
Just purrrrrfect..... Thought I'd do it as nobody else has.
The Meep in my name is a feisty small black ninja mog. She has 3 black fur housemates all Cats Protection, they are the hardest to home because of their colour!! It's great having movable heat pads you don't need to microwave 🤣🤣🤣😻
Indeed!! Well my tabby beautiful girl, who is 9 now and her lovely but dim Snow Bengal X brother, who is 7, now have 2 little black sisters also who we got last October from Sally’s Cat Rescue in St Austell. My one is now huge and fluffy / we think she is part Maine Coone and part Beast of Bodmin but the other one is really tiny - looks about 6 months and they are both just over a year old. She is very very vocal - has to butt into every conversation and offer an opinion and they both bring me in Huge Moths, birds and numerous frogs and toads. The amphibians are usually alive and I can rescue them and put them back in the pond out the front. I think they just recycle the same 2 or 3 actually.
