I am rigidity- dominant PD ; My personal experience!
I am rigidity -dominant PD and like other PwPD my main issues arise when imbalances between Acetylcholine and Dopamine and other neurotransmitters occur. I think we are either Dopamine- dominant or Acetylcholine- dominant( my case) PD. 📍📍Note: The DaTSCAN image doesn't belong to me and that's for

Hi All, I would be so grateful for any advice anyone can give me. I’m having a breast reduction in 2wks and I am hypothyroid ( I had my thyroid removed around 17yrs ago ). Obviously I’ve had advice regarding aftercare and supplements to take from the clinic I’m going to, but I wanted to ask if I should

BLEEDING NON STOP
Hiya ladies...... I am so stressed out and scared. After my failed 3rd cycle in January, my period has taken a bad turn with heavy clots and bleeding lasting about 18 days. My Gynecologist said it’s due to the hormonal drug that it will come back to normal. It’s been the same which is appalling. I can

If you are Akinetic-rigidity Dominant PD then be aware of medications and supplements increasing Acetylcholine
⁉️Today I started taking celery seed extract and experienced an unprecedented dystonia. I searched and noticed; “Celery is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It inhibits the acetylcholinesterase enzyme from breaking down acetylcholine, thereby increasing both the level and duration of action of the neurotransmitter

High prolactin
Have been on bromocriptine for like two months and after my last period on 21 may, to 25th, I started taken vit. C & E with the above drugs. Also I notice the breast milk has reduced very well when I press my nipple. Want to know if I have a chance of getting pregnant since the high prolactin is reducing

After Bush administration, now Trump is hitting final nail on the Stem cells research
The announcement this week that the federal government is changing its policy on the use of human fetal tissue in medical research is designed to please anti-abortion groups that have strongly supported President Donald Trump. But it could jeopardize promising medical research and set back attempts

Which foods have more than 10% fiber by weight? The answer may surprise you. (Hint - includes dark chocolate).
Fiber is incredibly important. It leaves your stomach undigested and ends up in your colon, where it feeds friendly gut bacteria, leading to various health benefits. Certain types of fiber may also promote weight loss, lower blood sugar levels and fight constipation. The recommended daily intake is 25

Cancer stem cells, which fuel the growth of fatal tumours, can be knocked out by a one-two combination of antibiotics and Vitamin C
First, the researchers inhibited the tumour cell mitochondria, by restricting the cancer cells only to glucose as a fuel source; then, they took away their glucose, effectively starving the cancer cells to death. "In this scenario, Vitamin C behaves as an inhibitor of glycolysis, which fuels energy

To train or not to train
Today was supposed to be my triumphant completion of week 4, however on my two rest days I have been cursed with the dreaded “man flu” I have consumed anything containing vitamin C and drank so much fluid I’m sloshing, my head really wants me to run and sweat it out, but is this a good idea? I really
