I had an old post here and decided to delete and make a cleaner new post , below is my new most recent results, and below that is my original post any input is welcome

So I’ve been working with the functional doctor. After being on 50mcg I’ve been retested.

My tsh is now 1.28

Free T4 is 1.0

Free T3 is 3.2

I still feel terrible so depressed, near zero libido, random cold extremities, fatigued, moody, I don’t even care for life at this point, feel like Im at a stand still. Any other ideas? Another doctor i went to did an organic acids test and it showed I need buffered b viramins I believe it was and vitamin C, which Im going to buy soon.

One thing that has improved though is Ive had floating stools for about a year and a half and was diagnosed with sibo, my stool no longer floats. Thats a plus I guess.

Not sure if its the thyroid meds or because I have started intermittent fasting. I fast between 20-22 hrs a day and eat in a 2 hour window. I also do longer fasts sometimes. Have gone up to 58 hrs so far.

But I still feel dead inside.

Thank you in advance.

—-BELOW IS MY ORIGINAL POST——

Hello everyone, just looking for thoughts on folowing bloodwork. Ive had health issues for half my life (31 yrs old now), I believe it started all from lyme disease, then I also found out I have CIRS (mold illness) more and more health issues popping up non stop. Within past year and a half I’ve been complaining of cold extremities, no libido, fatigue, difficulty to lose weight, body pain among many other things. I go to many doctors, one being a hormone replacement dr for testosterone, he randomly did TSH and I saw that it was high which I brought up to my primary dr who said my levels were not even that bad -_- although they sure look bad after doing some self research. He told me he would treat me with Levothyroxine (25mcg/day) if I insisted because of my symptom complaints. Im on week 3 but no improvements yet. I’ve attached bloodwork levels, guess I can only post one picture so the rest will be typed out , thank you for any input!

50mcg Levothyroxine is only a starter dose.

Taking Levothyroxine turns your own thyroid production down (hence lower TSH) so you have to slowly increase dose in 25mcg steps retesting levels 6-8 weeks after each dose increase

So Levothyroxine dose needs increase and FULL Thyroid and vitamin testing 6-8 weeks later

For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also extremely important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if Thyroid antibodies are raised

Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)

Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).

The aim of Levothyroxine is to increase the dose slowly in 25mcg steps upwards until TSH is under 2 (many need TSH significantly under one) and most important is that FT4 in top third of range and FT3 at least half way in range

All four vitamins need to be regularly tested and frequently need supplementing to maintain optimal levels

NHS guidelines on Levothyroxine including that most patients eventually need somewhere between 100mcg and 200mcg Levothyroxine.
