To train or not to train

Today was supposed to be my triumphant completion of week 4, however on my two rest days I have been cursed with the dreaded “man flu” I have consumed anything containing vitamin C and drank so much fluid I’m sloshing, my head really wants me to run and sweat it out, but is this a good idea? I really don’t want to loose my momentum 😫🤢😫🤢

my go-to test has always been the above or below the neck test.

if it's in my head, nose, ears, throat, I do exercise, if it's in my chest and I'm having trouble breathing I don't. If all my joints are aching I don't. If I have a fever but no other symptoms, I do (only happened once).

In any case, if I feel unwell anywhere, I do a light training and see how it goes, sometimes I start to feel better, sometimes I start to feel worse, in which case I stop.

Not sure if that helped
