Recommendations for Iron Supplement appreciated
I have feritin & iron deficiency due to hypothyroidism. I need to get a pure iron supplement. Many of them are multi, with folic acid, B12, and some capsules seem to be coated with magnesium serate (like Solgar) or such. I’ve learnt on this site that iron has to be taken 2 hours away from all supplements

Low white blood count.
I know I’m not alone. Anyone got any tips to get my levels up. It was 1.34 a month ago. Now 1.65. Normal level 4-11. Nurse says above 2 is ok and I’ve always run a bit low. Been eating lean poultry, fish, veg. Taking vitamin C. I’m hoping someone has a little miracle up their sleeve.

IBS REMEDY: CUT DOWN ACID FOODS/VITAMIN C
Hello family, About two weeks ago, I had similar symptoms of IBS after taking a lemon with some oil juice. I suffered repeated abdominal pains and diarrhoea until just yesterday that I started feeling better. I never visited the hospital but I stopped taking my vitamin c (corvite). Now I feel better

The Sweet syndrome as a cutaneous manifestation of Crohn’s disease
Sweet's syndrome (SS) can be triggered by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD - Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis). When this happens, SS normally develops in response to an IBD flare, but in up to 25% of cases, it appears before the diagnosis of IBD. This is a case of a 29-year-old man with CROHN'S

Hello I’m so confused about diet and supplements! 🤦♀️ Running out of the supplements I’ve been taking which include Magnesium, Boron, Curcumin, Vitamin C, Vitamin D & K & B complex. I take them a bit erratically but in a kind of planned way too i.e. if I feel I’ve had enough C in my diet that day

Just recieved my most recent thyroid, Iron and Vitamin D tests. Before anyone comments about thyroid test (FT3 was not tested) can't get Endo to think it's relevant... "sigh"! For those who don't know me I've been thyroid-less (cancer) since 10/2016 and developed debilitating Psoriatic Arthritis

Hep C Treatment, new here
Hi everyone, I'm new here and delighted to read about other people's experiences. I have just started a Mavyret treatment for Hep C. I contracted it during my teenage addiction to heroin. I got rid of the addiction some 25 years ago but couldn't get the treatment - until now :) I am super excited it

Active B12 of 31.5, folate of 1.72 - missing periods?
Hi Everyone, I’d really appreciate help with my friend’s daughter’s blood results please. Her main symptoms are being more tired than usual, some breathlessness, and missing periods, or just having a tiny bit of spotting. These symptoms have been going on for about 3 years, she’s 29. Her GP did

Am I taking too much vitamins?
I have no Idea what the weird numbers mean after it apart from ug. I included these incase it makes sense to someone else. I'm low in Vitamin D and iron , I always have been since a kid. I've only just noticed what each of the packet says , more concerned with taking both the multivitamin and the

Latest bloods - good?
Afternoon all, I've just received my latest Medichecks results and I'm feeling positive about them for the first time in 18 months. However, I would appreciate someone more knowledgeable casting their eyes over them for me just in case I'm missing something. TSH = 0.289 FT4 = 69% FT3 = 51.3% Current

Medicine/Supplement Regime (Mucuna etc)
I just thought I'd share my dad's current medicine regime in case it will help other people. After so many months of trial and error, we have finally found a dose that works for my dad. He takes it every 2 hours and 45 minutes with little freezing, has less dyskinesias, not much pain, a better appetite

Vitamins & Minerals
Just wondering what vitamins & minerals people take. At present, I take C0q10, magnesium, vitamin c. I did take the other 2 vits on the awesome foursome list ( D-ribose, L-carnitine) but it was getting quite expensive.

PS Hypo & tinnitus
Just found posts on this subject. Vitamin B deficiency seems prime culprit. I take a combo of Vit, B1 + B6 + B12. I get Vitamin D through sun exposure (a lot of it in Greece). I also take Folacin, Iron & vitamin C.

Saliva cortisol test results
Hi everyone I just got my saliva cortisol test results back and they are as follows: Waking: 9.78 (6-21) 12 noon: 5.19 (1.5-7.6) 4pm: 3.63 (0-5.5) Before bed <1.5 (0-2) I am relieved as this rules out adrenal insufficiency correct but is my waking level a little lower than it should be? Could this
