Coming off Qvar?
I realise this isn't the best place to ask about coming off a steroid inhaler, but I don't know where else to go other than my GPs' and it's quite hard to get through to them. I'm post-viral since March; maybe Covid, maybe not as it was too early for testing. The breathlessness and wheeze has just persisted

Omeprazole or not?
Hello everyone Your responses to my first question were so helpful and now I have one more to ask! Last week, I had the second appointment with a dr in the rheumatology department and he prescribed Omeprazole to be taken once a day to line my stomach. Apparently, I would be at risk of stomach ulcers

Does it sound like hemmoroids? Worried.
Hi all, 23 Female here, seeing a gastro this Thursday and very nervous but also anxious to have it over with. I have a history of lower GI bleeds, doctors have never been able to really pinpoint it so it was suspected I had hemmoroids, at one point had a NSAID induced bleed but no ulcers were found

Coming off long term PPIs?
Hi everyone! I am wondering if anyone could give me some advice... I’m a 37 year old woman and was put on omeprazole when I had my first son who is now 10. I was on a high dose of NSAIDS for a long time before this due to hip dysplasia pain. Since going on PPIs I’ve developed extreme IBS symptoms, low

Ibs omeprazole?
Hi, wondering if anyone can help me. I've had ibs since I was 13 years old but my stomach has always been "bad". My usual thing is low cramps and the runs, usually set off by stress, lack of sleep or too much bread or grease. 2/3 months ago I started to get a burning pain in my upper right abdomen,

Morning
Hi guys. I wake up with stomach pain and lower back pain every morning. It doesn’t take long to relieve itself. Has anyone else ever experienced this. I have just stopped taking my omeprazole around a week ago.

Bronchiectasis sufferers do you get this ?
I have been up and down again the last couple of days, possibly an infection coming on, the thing is I have been getting a horrible taste in my mouth which I can only describe as a metal/iron type of taste if that makes sense, I've also had a lot of bloating in my stomach the last couple of weeks, which

Over acid production
Hi All. I have been suffering from over acid production for just over 3 weeks. Not sure what started it but it could be something I ate which may have cause the initial indigestion. My symptoms were tightness in the upper abdominal, constant rumblings in the stomach and feeling full after eating a little

acid reflux for years
I have had acid reflux at night for years off and on. I used to buy OTC Pepcid2 but it suddenly disappeared a long time ago off all pharmacy shelves. I remember looking for it everywhere but no pharmacist was able to tell me why it had gone. Some even pretended they didn't know what Pepcid2 was lol.
