Taking Omeprazol
I was not taking Zantac because it disagreed with me but have yogurt before prednisone. Ended up with GI inflammation and blood. Had to stay in hospital one night. They sent me home with script for 20 mgs. Omeprazole. Do I follow the instructions that say take before a meal or do I take it in AM

5 years past whipple-what to do about omeprazole
I had a whipple procedure done after the discovery of a non-malignant tumor on my pancreas. After the procedure, I was told that I would need to take omeprazole morning and night, for the rest of my life. I have had gastroenterological issues and want to eliminate omeprazole from my routine, if possible

Newbie introduction
Hi I'm new and just like to introduce myself. I was diagnosed with RA about 2 years ago and it came as quite a shock - never had any serious illness all my life. I am retired and used to lead an active life (walking, gardening, car repair), now I'm struggling some days to do basic activities, but slowly

SOB
Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone with any medical knowledge or experience can help me. I'm 19 years old and for the past 2 years have been suffering from SOB. I'm never gasping but have a feeling as if I don't have enough air and have this strange feeling from my throat downwards, like an irritated feeling

Depletions of Vitamins and Minerals by Medication
Can anyone point me in the right direction of depletion of Vitamins and minerals by medication. I think there was some government guidance on giving B12 and Vitamins D3, but don't know where to look. My special needs son is low in a few vitamins and I have been supplementing, but this would be better

Omeprazole & Citalopram
Hi all. I've been taking both of the above for about 3 weeks now. The doc said I should start feeling some kinda benefit around now however he said it can take upto 3months before feeling drastically better ...is this true? I can't imagine being on medication that long but I don't know how I'd survive

Continuing Digestive Problems
This is for sympathy, really. After four years of problems with my stomach and oesophagus, the bowels are now getting as bad. I have periods of difficult and painful constipation, then periods of explosive diarrhea ( mostly at night, and many an "accident" ) Having to get up twice in the night to clear

Methotrexate/Omeprazole
I have been unable to reduce below 10 mg pred after 5 years. Rheumatologist put me onto methotrexate/follicles acid to see if after some months I could then reduce. I am taking omeprazole and the literature says there could be a reaction. Any advice please.

Can anyone recommend an open minded competent endocrinologist in London, Berkshire or the City of Oxford?
I am a man aged 68, and this is my first post. Six months ago I visited my GP (for the first time for several years) because I was short of breath and and found movement difficult. A blood test showed iron deficiency, low thyroxine, and a blood cell count of 53 - the norm I was told is 130. The GP
