30 years of IBS and it's changing
Have had 30 years of IBS, mainly terrible pain, constipation and horrendous trapped wind and bloating which makes all my muscles ache, is emotionally draining and puts me in bed for a few days a week, nursing a hot water bottle and taking painkillers. It has become much worse in last few months and I

Oesinophilic oesophagitis
Good morning, I am due an endoscopy at the end of the month to look at my oesophagus. I had a bad bout of reflux, without heartburn but just acid burning my throat. This then lead to breathlessness, or rather a feeling of being unable to get a deep breath. The GP prescribed omeprazole 20mg, which took

GCA helpful information (I hope).
17 months after I first had GCA symptoms , I thought it might be helpful to share/ summarise some useful information that I (and my GP!) have picked up in the meantime. 1 DIAGNOSIS: the recommendations are that if you have visual symptoms, you go straight on to 60 mg daily of steroids ( Prednisolone

Thank you for taking the time to help me. I have tried different things such as jelly, milk, or buttermilk. And have slippery elm bark lozenges. But once in awhile I simply cannot over come it. But will try the coke or pepsi. It's usually my fault as I've ate something right before bedtime and didn't

Unexplained Upper Gastrointestinal bleeding Omeprazole
Had 2 episodes of upper gastrointestinal bleeding (Meleana). One 2015 and the other June 2018. Resulted in iron deficiency anaemia and recent one rapid onset and collapse with emergency admission to A and E. Had all usual tests of camera down throat; capsule endoscopy and colonoscopy with no culprit

IBS and AF
Hello! I am having IBS and among others was prescribed Milosec (Omeprazole). Took it last night and about an hour or so my heart started waltzing. I was scared that it’s gonna bring me to full blown AF. Kardia says possible AF and about half an hour later after resting and relaxing I was in NSR again

Derealization increasing in the afternoon
For the past week I have been experiencing extreme derealization that has been greatly effecting my life and creating extreme distress. The first time I experienced this feeling was when I was kayaking with my friend. It was a sunny day (as i live in california) and we we're about to start to kayak.
