Morning
Hi guys. I wake up with stomach pain and lower back pain every morning. It doesn’t take long to relieve itself. Has anyone else ever experienced this. I have just stopped taking my omeprazole around a week ago.

Bronchiectasis sufferers do you get this ?
I have been up and down again the last couple of days, possibly an infection coming on, the thing is I have been getting a horrible taste in my mouth which I can only describe as a metal/iron type of taste if that makes sense, I've also had a lot of bloating in my stomach the last couple of weeks, which

Over acid production
Hi All. I have been suffering from over acid production for just over 3 weeks. Not sure what started it but it could be something I ate which may have cause the initial indigestion. My symptoms were tightness in the upper abdominal, constant rumblings in the stomach and feeling full after eating a little

Gaviscon affecting thyroid gland?
Hi everyone, Just wanted to pick your collective brain. I’m part of the group of people who are experiencing long term covid effects, and one of the issues I’ve had over the past few weeks are gastro symptoms. I’ve seen an ENT doc as have a raised node in my neck-been there for months-and feel there’

acid reflux for years
I have had acid reflux at night for years off and on. I used to buy OTC Pepcid2 but it suddenly disappeared a long time ago off all pharmacy shelves. I remember looking for it everywhere but no pharmacist was able to tell me why it had gone. Some even pretended they didn't know what Pepcid2 was lol.

Omeprazole
I was diagnosed with PMR over 4 years ago and have been taking pred, AA and omeprazole ever since. I have now been diagnosed with osteopenia and have gastric problems. I have stopped the AA but if I stop the omeprazole should I taper it?

Hi I’m new here and just wanted to ask a bit of advice. Since November last year I’ve had a cough, I went for a chest X-ray came back clear was given antibiotics and flixnase and told it could be postnasal drip. Fast forward to March symptoms not improving and getting worse. I stated taking antihistamines

Antacids not working
Been on heart tablets for 9 years after having 2 stents fitted - and on Ramipril, Bisoprolol, Atorvastatin, gastric coated Aspirin and Ranitidine, which after a few weeks in the drugs, have been absolutely fine. However Ranitidine was withdrawn in December, and put on Omeprazole. Got a lot of indigestion

More about Ranitidine
A while ago I posted here about Ranitidine being withdrawn. It was briefly reinstated, but now seems to be withdrawn for the foreseeable future. I have taken it for about 18 months and am concerned about no longer being able to take it as reflux (in my case possibly silent reflux) can trigger PAF. The

No medication seems to be working to ease some of the pain
Me again. No medication seems to be working. I'm currently on 3 gabapentin, Naproxen, 2 Omeprazoles (stomach was slightly damaged in early may as I wasn't aware that you had to have a stomach lining tablet with naproxen... Dr didn't give any Omeprazole with the naproxen so was advised to take 2 of them

Time of day to take Anti-platelet meds
Just wondering what time of day everyone takes their anti-platelet drugs? I am currently on 75mg Asprin, plus Atorvastatin and Omeprazole. I have swapped the Statin to taking in the morning rather than the evening, as it was giving me awful dreams. The Omeprazole gives me quite a few problems at the
