OCD taking over my life!
I have had loads of treatments over the years ranging from CBT,
hypnotherapy
and most recently Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Which to some of what have helped short term. I feel such a failure letting this rule my life the way it does!

Life beyond ITU
Hi everyone, so I’m new to this group so this is my first post. My key message is no matter how bleak things look keep fighting, life changing events can open new horizons. I am very lucky having received first class care and surrounded by caring family and friends. After 10 years of health service encounters

Anyone Tried Any Hypnotherapy?
So, yeah.. my question: has anybody tried
hypnotherapy
for coping with their worst symptoms? I have many, with breathlessness, dizziness, general limb weakness and overall exhaustion probably being the most crippling.

Always finding an excuse
I’ve had
hypnotherapy
, those nicorette sticks, gum, vape machines, etc etc. Cost isn’t an issue, £40 a month maybe. Y do I smoke???? Why does anyone smoke. I like it...... what do you like about it. I like going outside to think, with a cuppa t. I like going out to socialize and smoke.

Hydrotherapy and exercise
Just one of those late evening thoughts. Seldom do we have posts on hydrotherapy here. Liz used to have one to one hydrotherapy with a neuro-physiotherapist. Her lack of balance was not an issue in the water. She was able to do exercises and swim and the resistance of the water gave her a good work

Return to Sender
I plan to spend my time in
Hypnotherapy
, sensory deprivation therapy (Float tanks), and CBT. I will spend more time with my soul and just work on making peace inside of me, as it is the only thing I truly control anymore. How will you spend your wait?

How frustrating is this?????
I was diagnosed with PTSD just over a year ago. It was brought on by a life changing brain injury that I suffered in hospital whilst having a minor procedure. I was diagnosed by a neuropsychologist and have been waiting for treatment. After two assessments with a psychologist, I have now been told I

Control and Treatment of SIBO and IBS
Hello, this is my general response to help people find a baseline. First, go to the doctors and get yourself checked for intestinal infections, and whatever other tests they want to do. Most people find they are all clear, and that IBS is a condition brought on by our modern diet, freely accessible

Phantom organ pain?
I had a right nephrectomy about 26 years ago with no problems. I just had a right nephrectomy & autotransplantation about a month ago and I am experiencing left flank pain. It feels the same as it did before surgery. My surgeon said that about 50% of people will experience phantom organ pain afterwards

Want to get better
I want to try
hypnotherapy
. Maybe natural supplements instead of antidepressants. Any advice? Has anyone gotten better? How can I change my thinking? I’m spending so much money on doctors and therapy now.
