Guide to cure health anxiety, or lower it to an extent in which it isn't debilitating.
This is super difficult to do, curing health anxiety is very hard, and I haven't fully recovered myself. Atm, it feels like I've cured my health anxiety for about 70%. I'll write down what's caught me in the cycle, and what I've done to stay out of it. 1. Distractions: I truly believe distractions are

Hypnosis?
I have had three consecutive nights of hell with my RLS & a friend suggested that maybe hypnosis might help me. Has anyone tried this? If so did it help.

The story so far....
After numerous GP appointments, medication, counselling and
hypnotherapy
and getting no where I decided to do some research into my actual symptoms.

feeling a bit lost
When I turned 16, the doctors began to give up and had decided that the pain was mostly in my head and the next course of treatment would be
hypnotherapy
. Insisting that the pain was real, they then continued to look further into the situation.

What is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is an invisible illness and it’s more common that you may think! It is estimated that there may be over 3 million people living with Fibromyalgia in the UK alone, between 2.9 and 4.7% of the population worldwide, despite this awareness for this debilitating condition remains low. 12th May

On my way!
I began in January with a target of 20 kg to lose. Now I have lost 13 and a bit. A total of 30lbs so far. I have used a mix of hypnosis, blood sugar diet and a bit of swimming as I hurt my leg trying to use the treadmill. Need help with the final leg

Hope
I did my research before engaging with
hypnotherapy
or taking CBD oils. I hope this is useful for someone out there. All the best to you all. Dave.

So starting sertraline today...nervous...any advice?
Hello, I spoke to my doctor today because my anxiety is still here, it is not as bad as it was, but after trying CBT and hypnosis and everything I can I just have this constant feeling of anxiety combined with feeling fed up and like I don't have any get up and go anymore. I didn't really want to

Hypnosis totally reset my brain.
Anxiety, fear and self-doubt ruled my life: my health, thoughts, decisions (good/bad), education, friends, boyfriends, cars, career, finances and ultimately marriage and parenthood. For over 20 + years I have lived with anxiety, always in the midst of constant recalculating of my life course. Finally

Holding Back the Years - features Dr Rangan Chatterjee and a lady with Fibromyalgia
My concerns are that people watching will not be saying ' I watched a lady have
hypnotherapy
and it helped her, so you should do it' - feeding into the misunderstandings around Fibromyalgia and that pain is the only symptom.

Anxiety and sleep
I have such a hard time sleeping because of my anxiety. My therapist recommended looking up sleep hypnosis videos on YouTube and after a lot of trial and error I came across this video ( https://youtu.be/_xzjWPSPTq8 ). This guy has a ton of videos (for people with anxiety, depression, even just meditation

I would like to recommend a great book 🙂
One of the things he recommends is gut related
hypnotherapy
. I have found a local hypnotherapist who is trained by Prof Whorwell and although expensive I’m willing to give it a try.

What’s everyone’s favorite way to relieve stress on a daily basis?
I have been using a anxiety hypnosis album I downloaded from iTunes by Amy applebaum. I love it, but unless you have about 45 minutes to lose yourself, it’s kind of impossible to do until you’re home. Does anyone have something they can suggest when work ( or any stressful situation) is starting to

Helpful tips for managing anxiety and panic
Here are a few suggestions that work for me in no particular order. They are all natural, cost free and have only positive side effects. - avoid or greatly reduce stimulants / depressants like sugar and caffiein and alcohol - excercise. even if it's as simple as walking. Get blood and oxygen
