NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 20th May 2019

Swansea NRAS Group

Meetings are held at Sketty Parish Centre, De La Beche Road, Sketty, Swansea, SA2 9AR once every other month on a Monday from 7:30-9:00pm.

20th May - 'Updates on Treatments and Questions and Answers' to be presented by guest speakers Dr Nash, Consultant Rheumatologist and Laura Eales, Rheumatology Sister Singleton Hospital.

East Dorset NRAS Group

The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Next coffee morning: Tuesday 21st May at Stewarts Garden Centre.

Hertfordshire NRAS Group

Quarterly meetings are held at Welwyn Civic Centre, Prospect Place, Welwyn AL6 9ER on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

21st May - Guest speaker: Andrew Nesbitt PhD, Former Medical Director at UCB Pharma will present: 'Everything you ever wanted to know about biologics but were afraid to ask!'

3 Counties (Surrey/Hants/Berks) NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.

Torbay NRAS Group

This group hold their meetings in the ground floor meeting room at Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ once every other month on a Tuesday from 7:00-9:00pm.

21st May - Guest Speaker: Kim Fitchett from NRAS will be presenting an update on the work of the charity. Ever wondered who 'NRAS' are or what we do to support people living with rheumatoid arthritis? Why not come along to find out more about your charity!

Isle of Wight NRAS Group

The Isle of Wight NRAS Group are holding a coffee morning on: Wednesday 22nd May, 11am at Chessell Pottery, Brook Road, Yarmouth, PO41 OUE. All welcome.

West Dorset NRAS Group

NEW meeting location: Dorchester Community Church, Liscombe Street, Poundbury, Dorchester, DT1 3DF on the 4th Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.

23rd May - Guest speakers: Dr M Florea, Consultant Rheumatologist and Fig Chalk, Rheumatology Sister.

West Wales NRAS Group

The West Wales NRAS Group hold meetings at the Renal Unit Seminar Room at Withybush General Hospital, Fishguard Rd, Haverfordwest SA61 2PZ and will take place once every other month on a Thursday from 6:30pm.

23rd May - Local Hypnotherapy practitioner, Jo Di Francesco will be speaking to the group.

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
