Endoscopy AGAIN
So tomorrow I have another endoscopy, this is my 3rd in 8 weeks, I don't think there will be any banding this time, I don't feel like there will be anyway. I do however have 'Portal Gastropathy' this means that I have snake like skin in my stomach. It's a common cause of Cirrhosis of the Liver and Portal

Efficacy of Gluconorm SR500
I want to discuss a case here. Patient (fasting - 145) advised one Gluconorm SR 500 (metformin) at night. After 04 days, his fasting is 158. Is there a problem with the brand; in other words, should he first change the brand? Is there a better brand than this in India? Is there anything like intolerance

Coming Off Statins - Update 2017-02-21
I weaned off of a 30 mg dosage of Crestor between February and October of 2016. My last dose of Crestor was 5 mg in mid-October, 2016. I just had my blood test yesterday. I do a blood test every 6 weeks to monitor my lipid values and see the impact of adjusting vitamin supplementation and dietary changes

Hi - I have been told my cholesterol is too high but I am unsure of the readings and what they mean - any advice/explanation would be gratefully received. It is of concern to me because I also have high blood pressure (kidney disease as a child and I was told that as an adult I would have high blood

GCA blues
Hello all! I am fairly new here, though I have been an avid reader since I was diagnosed with GCA in mid-November 2016. Started on 40mg pred, now down to 10 mg and about to start the really slow taper down. Although I didn't initially have visual disturbance, the steroids have affected my eyesight
