High Fibre in the diet
I struggle to include the 30g of fibre that we are advised to eat daily. Last night I watched 'Food Unwrapped' where they filmed the Hadza tribe in Tanzania. These people apparently have 40% more good bacteria in their gut than the rest of the world because they consume on average, 150g of fibre!

Reducing cholesterol in 2 -3 months
Hi . I recently had a fasting blood test and got my cholesterol down from 7 to 6.0 . It was previously at about 5.0. My doc said I should go on statins. I prefer to try a 3 month diet plan . He’s not so keen as I own a fast food business. Lol . My tri glycerides result was 6.25 . Hdl was 1.42 . Suppose

Cholesterol Advisory Board in U.S. Tied to Statin Manufacturers
There's an old saying - 'the fish stinks from the head down'. Here's a link to an article which itself contains evidence supporting its finding - that those who are responsible for establishing the cholesterol guidelines in the United States are receiving compensation from statin manufacturers. https

High cholesterol and triglycerides?
Hello, I'm new here and I am writing because I recently had some blood work done and it showed high cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides and some other things. I am just kind of puzzled and concerned about this because I am only 17, not overweight, eat a healthy diet and didn't have this problem before

Don't feel the success
My fiance pointed out today that I haven't been getting much better anxiety wise, I've been on citalopram 40 mg for about 3 months and valium but I still can't do much unless I'm taking the valium which my prescription is out after this month. I tried to talk to my doc about maybe adding something to
