Since diabetics are prone to CKD and heart desease, is it safe to go for. LCHF diet

LCHF diet is supposed to give you normal blood sugar levels.In which case,CKD might not be due to diabetic complications.

Only type one uncontrolled D are more prone to get DKA. Type 2 have enough insulin lifetime to prevent it unless one is very careless about diet and takes too much simple carbs.

In some cases, this is not always how it is. It depends on the person.

No. Physiological responses remain the same in every individuals. And if there are aberrations in response they are very rare. And there is always some causes behind which we don't realise. For example a person may be taking high carb advertantly or inadvertantly. We may not be knowing and stamp as aberration.

Consult your Endocrinologist first before adopting any change in diet pattern.

This forum is for only information,individual can take advice from Endo also,,how a person vital organs are functioning,then he or she can decide to switch over to diet. Blood reports alone do not exhibit theirs functioning , a visual or Xray,CT,,MRI and others can give information on these organs for which a qualified Doctor in this field required to be consulted.
