Why am I still putting on weight?
Very active,

The doctor who asked me would I go into a hospice....
I am not drinking, not smoking,

and building up my exercise. My ascites is under control,(was drained of 16 litres in hospital), I no longer weigh 7 stone...I am over 10. My muscle mass is nearly normal, my bloods have improved.

Constant Hyperchondria around testicular cancer
Hi all, hope you are all well and getting a bit of sun where you are. It has been a little while since my last post as it got to a point where I had to see my GP, and after a reassuring meeting I was on the mend and not worrying as much of having a heart attack constantly! However, things seem to be

Cancer Research UK
Hi everyone! I mentioned this in the Daily Diary today that I'm doing 56 miles of walking and running in February to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I was (and still am) very anxious about asking for donations but I thought there's no harm in putting the link out there - even if no one donates, I'm

In the throes of a relapse, communication is key.
This behaviour pattern is so ingrained in me, and through therapy I have realised that it's been there since such a young age,

eating
, being slim and fit was such an important part of my upbringing. I have also watched my mum struggle with eating, but we have never spoken about it.

The way I can now stick to a new way of living
Hi I've been with this group for sometime but I don't always stop to write, today I wanted to share some of the issues I have or had. Because of this life style we are now in for some time yet. I got so it didn't matter what I looked like! a definite negative. So I made my mind up that I had to make

Extremely depressed
I’m frustrated because I’m doing everything right to fight this depression, I’m

Counting calories
I am already
eating
a super-
healthy
diet, low in carbs, but having done intermittent fasting for 2 weeks (skipping dinner), I was unable to lose any weight, so I suspect I am eating too much. Can anyone recommend a comprehensive and accessible calories calculator I could try online? Thank you.

Need help please
For the past 5 years I have been having issues with palpitations and SVT. My heart would suddenly start beating around 250bpm, they used to go away on their own but the last 2 years I have to call an ambulance and go to hospital to have it go back to normal. I had an ablation in December 2020 and haven't

Covid vaccination and heart meds
Hi I'm new. My heart condition and diabetes is well controlled. Until Saturday when I had my covid vaccination. My blood pressure has been very high since and had chest pains last night. Is there any link with the vaccination and medication efficiency?

Homemade Chicken Burger and Chips
Tonight’s dinner - crumbed chicken, avocado, tomato and coleslaw in a toasted brioche bun swerved chips, cooked in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkled with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and rosemary. It was delicious, even if I do say so myself. My husband was pretty impressed too

Cachexia
The past few months have been a cascade of lost muscle mass (and weight in general). I'm beginning suspect cancer induced cachexia although my MO hasn't mentioned it. Part of the problem is that our last visits have been virtual so he hasn't gotten to really see what is obvious to me. Has anyone
