awaiting diagnosis from MRI suspected AN
I will find out tomorrow if I have AN - had MRI done just over 2 weeks ago - no contrast - had no follow up appointment booked - but that has come through fairly fast. I did call ENT department just on the 2 week point expecting them to say it would be a couple of weeks - and they told me appointment

Healthy eating and exercise a walk to the lake... 😊
Hi everyone, As well as eating well its important to have enough exercise and here's where I went for a walk this afternoon. It's a fishing lake in the forest owned by the forestry commission and there were quite a few birds that are keen on fish here including some greylag geese which are the largest

Hi. Just joined this forum, so thought it would be a good idea to be social. After a long time struggle with weight gain and binge eating, I am finally in a place where I am hoping to make some serious life changes. Having tried a variety of diets before, I have always been met by scepticism from family

Advice needed
I lost 2 stone in the first 3 months whilst being supported by a dietitian,
healthy
eating
advisers and an exercise group run by NHS trainers. After this I started to plateau and I was struggling.

Intermittent Fasting & Weight Loss Plateau
Hi if it helps anyone who has reached the weight loss plateau. After successfully losing weight on a calorie deficit diet my body decided to rebel and refused to shed anymore pounds. Even after consistent gym sessions. This plateau went on for about 8 months and I was getting frustrated almost gave up

What is healthy eating?
Each time you eat something, drink something, put in your body anything at all, you make a choice. The sum of these choices, made moment to moment, and day by day, defines everything about the body/mind and how it functions. What are the best possible choices you can make, each and every time you eat

How to help regulate thyroid
It was a long road but I can’t emphasise enough how important
healthy
eating
, regular exercise and yoga help with this condition. Even if you feel terrible get out there in nature as much as possible. Stick to natural foods. Be kind to yourself and try a meditation app.

Hello people, just thought I would introduce myself and give a short synopsis of my Journey. And also ask for any tips and tricks on how to live with T everyday? So about 8 months ago I was sitting in my office and I heard this high pitch whine, at first I thought it was coming from my computer or something

Urgent reminder to all those on or going into ADT or recovering from surgery
Many of you have seen other posts where I recommend using my invention the JoyLoop or simply The Loop to help create and/or shore up erections. "Use it or Lose it" is NOT just a fanciful phrase. Where ADT is concerned, it's the deadly truth. Deadly? Yes, absolutely. Deadly for erectile functioning

Healthy drinking?
We spend so much of our time on this forum on food, I thought I might spend a bit of time talking about the drinks that I focus on.
Water:
I don't filter my water (yet) though I do plan to buy a good table top filter at some stage. You can get good filters for a few hundred pounds that get rid

Giving up the 5:2 diet...
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of the 5:2 and it was a massive help in slowly getting me to change my eating ways. First by recognising real hunger to boredom hunger. And then for making better calorie choices and portion sizes. It got me on the road to my weight loss! But now I count calories daily

My Struggle
I don't know whether I have a problem or not, but I probably do. I know what I'm doing isn't healthy, but I don't care. I'm not bulimic, although I really wish I was, it's horrible to hope for that, I know it, yet I don't care. I have attempted, on many occasions, to induce vomit. I have never been successful

Low inr - again
I guess my query straddles both weight loss and heart health as my inr has dropped to 1.6 despite being an optimum 2.3 the week before. This has happened two or three times over the past couple of months. I am aware of avoiding copious amounts of certain greens, but wonder if the no to very low carb
