Covid vaccination and heart meds

Hi I'm new. My heart condition and diabetes is well controlled. Until Saturday when I had my covid vaccination. My blood pressure has been very high since and had chest pains last night. Is there any link with the vaccination and medication efficiency?

If you are having chest pains you really should see a doctor urgently.

I felt rough for 24 hours after my vaccination.

But as I said get urgent medical advice.

The British Heart Foundation do recommend people with heart problems to have a vaccination. - with special instructions for those on anticoagulants. There is nothing in the vaccine that should react with heart medications. As you appear to have had side effects you should seek medical help as soon as possible (perhaps ring 111). It is important that any side effects you have experienced are notified on the yellow card scheme.

I'm in hospital right now awaiting blood results. Looking into why my BP is so high. They Don't think its a heart attack ECG and chest x-ray are clear just first blood test was 1 point over for heart marker. So second to check that's just my normal level 🤞
