Hi everyone! I mentioned this in the Daily Diary today that I'm doing 56 miles of walking and running in February to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I was (and still am) very anxious about asking for donations but I thought there's no harm in putting the link out there - even if no one donates, I'm very happy just to spread some information about the charity around.

Cancer Research UK uses all donated money to identify the causes of cancer, strategies for prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cures. It's such an important cause - did you know that in the UK, there are around 367,000 new cases of cancer each year? This can affect anyone, in any stage of life, gender, race or religion. It can feel pretty hopeless, especially considering the current pandemic, but everyday we are one step closer to beating this disease for good.

The link for my JustGiving page is:

Together we will beat cancer! :) xx

Donated :) this is really awesome! Cancer Research UK is a charity very close to my heart and although I’ve done other things to raise money for them I’ve never been brave enough to do something like this! Fair play to you! Best of luck! :D x

Donated 😊. I wish you well in your venture. I lost my husband of 57 years to pancreatic cancer in 2018 just a few short weeks from diagnosis and would give anything to see a cure for this awful disease. Sorry it can’t be more💕

Thank you so much for your kind donation. I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, this disease is very cruel. I hope a cure comes very soon. xx
