I keep very fit and eat a pretty healthy
diet
. However I have not tried a
gluten
free
diet
which I think some people recommend on this site. Nor have I tried T3. Thanks for any tips.

Is our Poo a Crystal Ball into our health destiny ? Auntie Bee did a little research to see if the truth is in our bowels.
And even though low gluten bacteria may suggest an intolerance , it can also suggest that you already have a
gluten
free
diet
by choice.

Annual Blood Test Results
I did notice signs of joint pain, bloatedness & tiredness, so will be continuing
gluten
free
diet
again. I am on NDT as Levo did not agree with me Do you think that would be the main cause for the ferritin going up? I will be grateful for any comments please.

LCHF Mythbusting
As some of you might know, I'm the HU "Ambassador" for the LCHF group. It's a bit of a thankless task because the internet is still awash with misinformation about LCHF. Prompted partly by a few recent conversations, I figured it'd be worth doing an occasional series of MythBuster posts. I'll do two

Enzyme Deficiency
I've been on a
gluten
free
diet
for nearly 4 years now because I did test positive for the allergy and show all the signs of celiac disease. In November I had another Upper GI and Colonoscopy and was diagnosed with Disaccharidase Deficiency.

LCHF v Keo
Yes-@MBAnderson, that’s great on both of you. Dr Terry Wahl’s had remarkable /miraculous improvement on essentially the same w/more extreme measures> keto . I think dairy and gluten free is attainable and if so, will be the best for me (& maybe most of us w Neuro disease). Although Mischley does not

Advice please
I went
gluten
free
and changed my
diet
to anti inflammatory. Reverse T3 came down, antibodies lowered. It was great until a couple weeks ago. Now, my body goes so hyper after taking the T3 and tonight it was pretty bad for a time. I was mistaking these symptoms for hypothyroid symptoms at first.

High protein low carb. Any posts on interesting menus? Health tips?
Got to eat something a bit more interesting than omelettes and meat 😂 One week is enough of that so health tips would be good too please. I really love vegetables but I genuinely eat for england if I make a healthy veg soup.

Low Carb vs. Keto
The less I eat the better I feel. At my “Navy weight” of 120# (when I joined, and even retired), I’m unusually stable despite changing up various dietary protocols. Of course, I sample and cheat a lot but feel best when off of most dairy & gluten (& partly by association, low carb). Keto “research”

Coconut oil for anti fungal
If this is a fungal skin problem, coconut oil could help.. its anti fungal , I know its sorted quite a few skin problems as a family that we have had.. it has no side effects... if socks are put on after (so no slipping) before retiring. Also, a few drops of tea tree oil mixed into coconut oil... I

Anybody eat the same breakfast most days?
Hi Wondering if anybody else eats the same breakfast most days? I eat the same Mon-Fri as i like routine plus i love my breakfast. I have homade waffles. I make them with Coconut flour and i follow a low carb \keto recipe. I top with either plain yogurt or homade keto vanilla ice cream or whipped

Genius! Celeriac lasagne!
I've cooked celeriac for the first time today (and thank you for asking, it's only a little cut and it's nearly stopped bleeding!) so I googled recipes and found this. https://www.greatbritishchefs.com/recipes/oxtail-lasagne-recipe I love recipes that are naturally low carb. This might need some tweaking

My weight loss/gain history
Today?1 I am in a position to do 'weigh in' days at last! This will be a long post, sorry. I haven't been on here for a couple of weeks, been busy, busy, busy with my veggie garden and falling into bed at night. Some of you may remember me, great difficulty losing weight, tried everything and it's

Almost have a flat stomach!
Hi All, I have gone back to the LCHF lifestyle again at the start of lock-down, I have lost half a stone and "almost" have a flat stomach. I have not eaten gluten for four years and gave up sugar completely four weeks ago. I started weekly pilates classes at the beginning of the year and since lock

LCHF and "athletic" performance
Strava, the running/cycling app, has this concept called segments: they are arbitrary stretches of road marked out by users. Every time you ride through a segment, Strava records your time. If it's in the top 3 fastest times you've ever done it, you get a trophy 🏆. That means the second time ever you

Confused
Hey guys, so briefly T2 diabetic, went LCHF 3 years ago and have been in nutritional ketosis since all but once when I slipped out for 48 hrs. So my question to you all is this. I got up this morning and tested my urine 0.8 ketones, came down and tested my blood 10.5 😳 this has happened before normally
