Well.....
(One GP I saw not convinced I had PMR) Anyway I've started on
gluten
& dairy
free
diet
...what a difference. Tapering off steroids myself and down to 5.5mg Prednisolone, doing my own thing now as no further follow ups or bloods with GPs, fed up chasing everything. Feeling positive at last.

Bubbles in urine
Hello, Had a quick question about bubbles in urine. Some days my urine is totally clear. Perfect color no bubbles at all. Other days, usually the first/second time I go in the morning it has some bubbles in it. Can what you eat effect that? I eat a low protein diet, no red meat or poultry. Only

a question for fellow hashi sufferers
My nutritionist had initially recommended a
gluten
and lactose
free
diet
as I had a food sensitivity test which showed wheat and lactalbumin were an issue. I’ve followed that diet for 4 months and just had my antibodies retested and they are exactly the same, no improvement.

Raised Creatinine in urine
Hello everyone I was diagnosed with PMR in January and am now down to 4.5mg prednisolone. Having piled on the pounds at first I have been on a low carb diet since March. I do eat quite a bit of meat and a recent urine dip stick test showed raised creatinine. Could this be caused by high protein/low carb

I was diagnosed with IBS-D about three years ago I’m on a
gluten
and fructan
free
diet
. However I still suffer with urgent explosive diarrhoea some days worse than others but being on these diets has lessened the amount of times I have to rush to the loo from around 8 times a day to 3 sometimes 4.

Blood test
In january 2021 I had a call from GP surgery offering me gluten free food on prescription so I am guessing they have made a coeliac diagnoses on blood work and improvement of symptoms on the
gluten

diet
.

Confirmation This Is Normal When Starting or Increasing Thyroid
I still have a low body temperature and run a heater in my office, skin is still dry, and my weight doesn't budge even though I am on a healthy
diet
and
gluten
free
. I eat very little processed foods and sugar. Here is the issue, starting this week I have been a little jittery.

What was left
Gluten
free
, lactose free and back on fodmap
diet
and a bowel health plus probiotic supplement, made from Kiwi fruit. Tasted nasty but I persevered. Nothing has worked and I have had numerous tests, probes and samples taken with gastrology.

2nd biopsy, just started on prednisolone. Dietary help pls.
So my doctor had just started me on 25mg of prednisolone indefinitely due to the inflammation (in my kidneys?) as a result of my igA nephropathy acting more aggressively on my body. I am taking effort to abide by a low protein diet at 0.8g/protein/kg body weight per day. Aside from feeling very hungry

Liothyronine over or under.
Is it possible that too much liothyronine may stall weight loss please. I have been on liothyronine only 60mcg daily for at least ten years it was 80 before that. I suffered two mini strokes in July and was given a blood thinner told to stay active and lose weight and despite strict low carb walking

Which Levothyroxine Brand?
Also, a thank you for all the help and advice previously, I am now doing a strict
gluten
free
diet
to try and control the antibodies, I'm keeping a food diary and I'll be starting back on Levo, so finally feeling a bit more optimistic about things.
