Gluten-free diet

I have been advised on here to consider a gluten free diet. I did buy gluten free bread and couldn't eat it, so put 99% of it out for the birds, so not entirely wasted. I didn't like the consistency at all. Are they all like that? Any further recommendations please Appreciated

Wonder if someone could give advice as to whether Gluten free diet/dairy free diets is recommended for people taking Thyroxine and T3, but who do not have antibodies. I was under the impression that it affected people who suffered with Hashimoto disease only. Am I correct to think that

I have been diagnosed with IBSD last year, had symptoms for years, but I'm really struggling at the minute, I follow gluten free diet as It doesn't agree with me. My doctor has said that that's just ibs to alter diet and exercise but when I can't eat anything I have no energy to exercise.

I have been sent back to GP care as I will not agree to RAI Can anyone tell me if it would be beneficial to me to try a gluten free diet to improve my thyroid health. I am allowed 2 blood tests a year and my next one is due next month.

This has been for about 4 years, I have a gluten free diet. Despite the NDT treatment (levothyroxine didn't work) , I still feel the cold, have weight gain, have digestive issues, am irritable and, have to eat a lot and often. My energy levels have never been back to before diagnosis.

I’m on a totally gluten free diet and am thinking about giving up dairy, and perhaps trying the autoimmune protocol as I have Hughes Syndrome (since 1995) as well as hypothyroidism. My GP thinks the thyroid problem isn’t auto immune, I think these results suggest otherwise? I also have CKD 2.

Thanks to this forum and all the wonderful people who have shared their stories and advice with me, I now feel pretty good at 88 mcg Tirosint and Gluten Free diet. But, on that journey I was struck with a Frozen Shoulder.

I don't have Hashimoto's or Celiac and am on a gluten free diet. I do have inflammation and high glucose even though I eat very healthy. The functional doctor has me doing an elimination diet.

Hello, i had an endoscopy December 2024 to check how my celiac disease is now that i have been on a gluten free diet. I had biopsy taken and while waiting for the results my GP had IFAB and Parietal cell anti body test done. Both have come back negative.

I trialled a gluten free diet when I was diagnosed but introduced in preparation for the test. I didn't see any major differences but I am going to cut it out again. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,

I am aware that it is important that a gluten free diet must be very strict, and as I am at the beginning of this journey I would be very interested to hear from other people who have had a positive TG6 test and their experience of undertaking a gluten free diet either positive or negative

Despite the gluten-free diet, 30-50% of diagnosed patients continue to suffer from symptoms with signs of inflammation, partly due to unavoidable minimal gluten contamination in everyday life. Supportive pharmacological therapy is therefore urgently needed.
