Recovery week 3 (I think)
Think I’m going to stick at around 5k for a few more weeks until I feel my
fitness
is recovering sufficiently then start out on one of the 10k plans again!

Week Nine, Run Three
My resting heart rate has dropped from 80bpm to 60bpm since I started, so I know it's working more efficiently now and that was my main aim - to increase my
fitness
levels ❤️ I am going to continue this journey, running at least 30 minutes three times a week, and see how I progress.

Motivation for exercise
My poor sleep has been made much worse by Pred and so, as a matter of interest, I bought a
fitness
watch to monitor my sleep patterns. It is not brilliant at that because it cannot distinguish between lying still, listening to music, and light sleep.

Week 1 Run 1!
I’m currently a brown belt and I’m at a point now where I feel like my level of
fitness
is holding me back so I’m hoping that this will help! I did my first run earlier and it was hard, I’ve never really ran before so I expected it would be. But I feel good about it nonetheless!

Body Image
I look at a lot of
fitness
model who look amazingly fit and sexy, the female models. I see their dedication and I wish I had it. In the end, I am trying to love myself for me. But I feel ugly because of my poor upper body development.

Just had my butt kicked by the C25K Speed podcast
But I do want to increase speed and
fitness
. The first run was "Whoa, okay, so this is running" and I don't think I have run that fast in years. The intervals are 60 seconds of 160 bpm and 60 seconds of 150 bpm. My run was more 60 seconds of 155 bpm, 30 seconds walk, 30 seconds of 150 bpm.

First 10K post calf injury
I spent many days feeling frustrated and upset and doing Caroline Jordan's chair cardio (Thanks Linda) trying to keep my
fitness
up. It's so difficult to get your heartrate up sitting down even when you are doing crazy things with you arms to the point where you can't hold them up a moment longer!

Wk 9 Run 3 - Graduation Run
For someone with little to virtually no
fitness
, all I can say is WOW how did i do this? It wasn’t easy, I have struggled, laughed, cried, been out of breath, sang along to songs, felt I could have given up after that first run but also felt at times I could have ran further or faster.

Fitness Levels on Smart Watch
My
fitness
score has changed from 37 (very good) - 62 BPM to 34 (Good) - 57 BPM. I’m jogging and feeling fitter but Fitbit is not reflecting my
fitness
levels. Anyone having the same trouble with their
Fitness
watch? Any recommendations for best watch?

Spring 2021 Half Marathon Group 😍 Top Tip #2: Mix it up!
Running hills is great for improving your aerobic
fitness
and is guaranteed to increase your heart rate. You don’t need a mountain, any incline will do! Build up gradually as your legs and muscles adapt.
Consider core and strength training!

I've only gone and done it!
Will probably never hit the 5k mark but not really bothered, so long as I maintain my newly found
fitness

Oops ! I just started half marathon training !!
So - benchmark done today and my
fitness
age went up (up !!) by 5 years (in just 9 mins !) but since I was concerned about the prospect of re-entering my teens I’m not that bothered. So ‘cadence drills’ and ‘acceleration glider drills’ - here I come !! :)

I did it with C25k, U can too!!
I can still remember my first walk/run and that 60second run which was a wake up call and I was determined to get my
fitness
levels up. Through rain, cold/dark evenings and crisp afternoons I stuck to the program with the 3 runs a week as a minimum, occasionally did 4.

CMT & Fitness
Hi everyone, after seeing many people across different CMT websites with similar questions, I've spent the last few months in lockdown creating a CMT website that is focused on providing useful, actionable information about managing the disease, focusing around health and

which I and a few others
