Recovery week 3 (I think)

It’s all blurring together again 😂

Week 3 of post layoffs recovery and I’m back upto 3x 5km a week - ok one week 😂, although I’m using a route with hills so it’s a little tougher than my earlier runs. The last 2 I clocked the exact same time to the second at 35’19” - nothing like consistency!

Think I’m going to stick at around 5k for a few more weeks until I feel my fitness is recovering sufficiently then start out on one of the 10k plans again!

My cheeky garmin watch now says I’m 61 with the VO2max firmly in the red - ah well, I’ll be retired soon if I go off the watch’s reckoning 😂

You could do a few fast/slow intervals. That'll bump up the VO₂Max value.

Vo2max is hilarious isn’t it, last April I was 79 😂

VO2 max on garmin should be taken with a pinch of salt. I ran a 17 mile trail run with 3000 ft elevation last year and it dropped 2 points. I can run fast one mile and the block and make it go up one point. Ignore it.
