Winter off as it was either too wet or too cold and my
fitness
has completely gone. I have started again and 60 secs running is hard as I am so out of condition. I know I got better last time so that is what keeps me going.

0% Experience. 0% Fitness. 100% pain.
I startedrunning yesterday and completely ignored the app and just ran and walked as I saw fit (I was hoping to establish a baseline for my
fitness
, or lack of it). This was a mistake as every part of my body is berating me for my ignorance despite doing the cooldown stretches!

So at long last, I have decided to ‘grow up’ and utilise a proper tool to improve my
fitness
and running technique.

TOO MANY REST DAYS...
I'm worried that my
fitness
will slide and I won't reach that level again. ANY TIPS ANYONE? I have time to get hold of this training without panicking but I do need to take more rest days in between my runs otherwise I just feel exhausted.

Bradycardia + RA anyone else?
My first inkling that I have a low HR was when I joined a gym in my early 30's, during my
fitness
assessment it was noted that my HR was as low as that of an elite athlete... (in case you wondered, I am not and never have been lol).

Failing eyesight & small watch display blues
Looking for a wee bit of advice folks re
fitness
trackers/watches. Currently I'm using a Garmin Vivosport. It's basic, but does me as I carry my phone with me so play music that way. What I'm struggling with is the size of the screen (it's small) - and my failing eyesight!

First attempt at 15K ended at 5K
My first attempt at 15K brought the realisation that the two weeks break I took has affected my
fitness
levels. I was fatigued today and felt I’d be happy with 5K and try again another day.

Back On The Road With A 4K
The Hackney Half Marathon has now been postponed until September which gives me time to build my
fitness
back up and hopefully deal with this health issue.

Monday Round-up
It was wonderful to be out and about in the sunshine, but I really did feel how unfit I've become and I really must urge myself to get out for as many short walks as possible and work my way back to better
fitness
, or I shall have to adopt the pseudonym of Puffing Billy!

A Wonderful Day for a Run, But Here’s the Deal
As long as I can get some more sessions booked, it will help maintain
fitness
levels – and hopefully get me back into the swing of exercising before work for when I start running again.

Where has my running
fitness
gone and will it come back😟? UPSET is an understatement ....I just hope I have the will and determination to start all over again and I hope that it does not take too long before I am enjoying running again. Any tips will be gratefully received🏃♀️🙏

3K in the sunshine ☀️
With just that one run, my
fitness
level improved from 34 Excellent to 38 Superior. My
fitness
age improved from 35 to 25. I suspected this would happen. Garmin loves shorter runs as part of your training plan! Happy sunshine running 😊☀️🏃♀️☕️ Splits: 7:43, 7:39, 6:48

Yogis: How do you take your practice outside?
Have you found a way of following
fitness
videos outside in gardens and parks? Which ones, where? 3. Do you do yoga without any instructors and how do you remember the flows? Do you take a ‘cheat-sheet’? 4.

The most PATRONISING doctor EVER!
He sat and listen to my whole lift story as he was really into
fitness
himself, he took the time out of his day the day after to call me. He said he is going to call me every 2/3 weeks until we get to the bottom of this, he is going to be like a dog with a bone!

3.5K and 3 years off fitness age and Zombie mission 1 completed 😂
I then decided to just do 3.5k today as I want to start mixing my runs up a bit again so hopefully my next one will be either 5k or more (undecided yet) I noticed (as expected) that this shorter run improved my
fitness
age by 3 years and VO2Max went up by 1 It is still some way off what it was at its

Some hope and positivity!
He was clear my situation was life threatening and that if if I was to get to remission it would most likely return BUT he was also clear that there was room for hope and that given the right interventions and taking into account my age (53) and
fitness
(was v good) I had every chance of seeing it thru
