Christmas Present to Self. 🎄🎅🎁 Week 1 Run 3 Done!😃
I think it's to do with cardio
fitness
, but my legs need to get used to this running business again. It's why I'm doing the plan again- I know it works. This run set me up perfectly for Christmas Day. Dinner cooked, eaten and slumped watching the latest James bond film on bluray.

From fit to fed up and feel like a failure….
I recently sent for a car disable pass because of my inability to walk far , have been using a lightweight battery chair when my hubby needs to really walk for his
fitness
and I can keep up ……… but choose to walk as a preference to help build my strength.

Final Week 9 Countdown
I started this C25K to improve my physical
fitness
, and hopefully lose some weight, but it now almost feels like the mental '
fitness
' aspect is becoming more important. For the first time in my life I'm starting to understand why it's said 'running becomes addictive'. I'm loving this!!! 🏃🏻♀️

Update on my recovery, we are at day 100
With a months bedrest, it has been very tough to get my
fitness
back, and I have struggled with a lot of sleep anxiety) I continue to improve, I can cook 2 meals, go for a 10-15 minute walk, bath, and just about get my shopping up the stairs.

8 months post ablations update
I am approx 10% behind my previous
fitness
level. I am 55yrs old, so I probably have to be patient to see progress with or without ablation... In a nutshell, I am happy I had my ablation done.

Hoping for some advice
I monitor my heart by wearing a
fitness
tracker and it always behaves perfectly! ‘If it ain’t broke, let’s break it’ springs to mind. I hope I’ve not put anyone in a position by posting this but I am at my wits end. And I apologise for the emotional tone.

Week 1 Run 1 Take 2
It was tougher than I expected, but the walks, swims and stints on the exercise bike have helped maintain the cardio
fitness
levels. My body just needs to get used to this running malarkey again. I'm so , so happy to have run again today. C25k worked before, and I know it will again.

Update to driving post
Given I had to jump the hoops by dvla to prove medical
fitness
to drive, can honestly say after a long time 6month and a couple of medicals my drivers licence is all good no restrictions and full all entitlements from bike , car, bus , and hgv, can honestly say a big lift of stress lifted after receiving

My time (1:57:38) wasn’t my main concern today given
fitness
levels and minor niggles. But pleased with this effort.

Advice been discharged 3 weeks tomorrow
All I've had is an email of doctor with my fit note which finishes 30/11 which states "I will not need to assess your
fitness
for work again at the end of this period" and just had a generic "new start" booklet when discharged. Thanks James.

Heart Attack
Hi All, I had never been a runner, or even into
fitness
, since my late teens and when I used to be a boxer. But this year, having a desk job and the Pandemic assisting in me hitting 22 stone I decided enough is enough and decided to make the change.

DVLA (Drivers' Medical Group) - problems and delays
Meanwhile I haven't seen either my GP (who knows nothing about CMT) nor neurologist (who does know something) face to face since March 2019, so even if they were willing, they could not say anything about my
fitness
to drive.

One more week to go and I will have completed the NHS 12-Week
Fitness
Plan. This plan really is brilliant. It incorporates the C25K (C230min), C25k+, Strength & Flexibility and 10-minute (20-25min) Strength workouts. I have made it so far without any injuries or feeling defeated at any time.
