Hi - for lazy simplicity I used the Myfitnesspal free ap . Allows you to scan barcodes , list every ingredient and tells you if you have overdone macros . You Tube guides will help if you are stuck because it is simple to use when you know how but one button pressed wrongly - haven't we all. I only used this app for a month as it can drive you crazy . I couldn't work out my meals without it . You have to weigh the ingredients or scan any packs / tins you use but this was great for me to have an idea .
Best of luck. This isn't easy . I thought exercise and eating less was the b all but it isn't . I found gym and crazy Zumba built muscle so the nutty exercise was slightly increasing my weight but it got rid of my barrelled stomach .
This is what I'm finding working out increases my weight because I'm getting more muscle I'm not necessarily going down in clothes sizes
You have a healthy BMI and combined with mindful eating and exercise the weight will be hard to shift especially if you just eat the same decent food and exercise vigorously. Your body may like what you do and I found I have an optimum where the weight doesn’t shift . I also take no medication inc vit / mineral supplements. If you are beating yourself up then diary all for a couple of months , weigh yourself once a week , log any exercise and see a nutritionist who may be able to tweak something you have overlooked.
