A very unwelcome visitor
I posted in January about being discharged from hospital cardiology after I declined a second ablation because I’d been AF free for over 12 months. Unfortunately, last Saturday AF appeared out of the blue! I only discovered it by chance as I was not aware of any pulse issues. I had a slight headache

Exercise people! Therapeutic potential of contracting skeletal muscle-released extracellular vesicles in cancer
Indeed, there are numerous questions regarding the role of extracellular vesicles in mediating the effects of
exercise
, the clarification of which is critical for tailoring

Does regular exercise really give you an advantage if you have an asthma attack?
If you are fit/do cardiovascular
exercise
and strength training regularly are you better able to tolerate and survive an asthma attack than someone who doesn’t
exercise
? Experts might say yes to promote
exercise
but to what extent do you think it really helps?

Time to get moving...gently does it...

is , it is sometimes just not feasible to do it!

AFib after exercise
I hadn't had an AF episode for 6 months, then last night I had palpitations and was in AF for 13 hours with an HR of 127. As I normally do in these situations, I look for a trigger: the only thing I did differently was that I had a game of padel tennis eight hours before, the first time I've tried it

Just stepping out of your door is an adventure... Walking, the Best Exercise...Part Two.
Okay forum friends here I am... Another day, another post and than you all for the many replies and photographs too. Another good night's sleep followed the relaxing breathing exercises and a few gentle stretches too, last night. Box breathing, done, in the shadowy cool of the evening, before settling

Exercise webinar today
I have just watched the webinar covering the launch of a booklet concerning
exercise
routines for PMR/GCA sufferers. Well done to all who contributed. It was clearly popular and I estimate 250 people watched. My question now is how to download the booklet and/or how to get a hard copy.

Help for exercise
So in between time, whilst I walk to a little shop where I volunteer twice a week, I feel I don’t do a lot of
exercise
. I think I need a shove or something to get outside. Any helpful suggestions welcomed.

No one has yet explained why no exertion and what

"Failed" exercise stress test
Cardiologist did an
exercise
stress test on Tuesday and stopped the test after 3 minutes. He told me I have ischaemic heart disease - which is a bit galling as I have never smoked and do not eat red meat, cheese, eggs etc. - and it came as a bit of a shock!

Newbie question re exercise
Hello all! I'm having a lot of joint and muscle pain and I find it gets much worse in the evening and during the night. I do yoga in the mornings (adapted cos some of the moves are simply impossible) and it feels as if the yoga actually loosens up the painful muscles and joints, but I wonder if it's

Back in the saddle, "100 most motivating exercise bike songs of all time"
Started back, using my old
exercise
bike. Personally I find the
exercise
bike the most boring form of
exercise
possible (5 mins on an
exercise
bike is a lifetime). So video or music involvement is essential and found this on YouTube. https://youtu.be/pRpeEdMmmQ0?

I was diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder in June 2023 which was brought upon by having to wait for a major bowel operation which was eventually carried out in October 2023 which really stressed me out. I was prescribed Citalopram 20mg for my anxiety and I am still on this. In late August 2023 I suddenly
