Currently woke up feeling anxious. I want to cry and stay in bed. My heart is beating like crazy, nauseous and my head hurts. A lot of things going on today. Trying to plan simple things that can allow me to get through the day. Hopefully a few breathing exercises can help. 😔How are you guys doing?

I used to wake up that wake every single day but since I got a new psychiatrist and he changed my meds and added some supplements, it's not as bad. I hope you start to feel better as the day goes on. I usually start to feel better by 5pm. I guess that's when my body clock decides that I'm safe. Strange. Do you take any meds?

Not currently. I am usually able to calm down with a few coping techniques. My anxiety has not gotten bad enough for medication yet. I am hoping it gets better throughout the day. I know I am overwhelmed and overthinking. I hate that part of myself because it makes things harder that may not be at all. I know that there is a lot of things that are have to be done. So it more like am I going to be able to finish it on time? What if I don't? Trying to set what I am able to get done today to lessen these feelings.

I admire your strength to do it without meds. I struggled for a long and finally had to get meds. I just can't do itwith meditation and praying. I'm not strong enough. I hope your day gets better.

Have you thought about seeing a therapist.? It’s brave of you to try this without meds but this might be an option you want to explore.

I am still thinking about it because I still do what needs to get done. It's not affecting me to the point that I don't get it done but it slows me down and takes a lot of time to deal with.

I can sympathize with you! Sometimes I wake up feeling ok but then the dark cloud appears and I tighten up and start feeling jittery. I try to just one little thing to get me started like feeding the cat or making my bed. Sounds silly I know but it helps. Don’t look at everything at once just do the next thing one at a time. You’ll get there. Anxiety and depression are my constant companions and it really helps me.

I listen to Pastor Rick too. Love him.
