I visited Belgrade in the summer of 2000. It was just after the war, and the city had not yet reopened. It was a magical visit, while the scars of war were visible everywhere (it was obvious that the USA had deliberately bombed the Chinese embassy), the people seemed to have decided not to dwell on it

Losing weight
Hi I am 73(74) next month I am the heaviest I’ve ever been and I feel very uncomfortable.I am trying to lose weight on my own with a calorie controlled diet but it doesn’t seem to be working, even though I’m using on average about 1200 calories per day any ideas or suggestions?

New starter seeking some support :)
Hi everyone, I’m starting the NHS 12 week plan tomorrow and I’m so excited for it! I’ve already printed off my food and exercise charts and got them in a little file ready (I’m pathetic, I know). I’m just a bit worried because I’ve tried a million diets before and I never manage to stick at them. I

All the weight is round my middle!
I've managed to gain 10kg over the last few months - having been anorexic for over 40 years - now heavier than I've been since age 18!!! However, I'm now really struggling as all the weight seems to be round my stomach and middle - is this normal and does it redistribute - can't do up my skirts round

I think we should talk about the DROPLET trial
I've been meaning to post this for a while. When I joined here and was talked out of my low calorie diet, I went in search of the studies to back up that advice and I couldn't find them** What I did find were studies like DROPLET ([i]Doctor Referral of Overweight People to Low Energy total diet replacement

Food Intake Suggestions
I am recovering from multiple eating disorders called anorexia and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. I am an adult now and have issues finding what to eat. Do you have any suggestions for someone who is extremely picky and has Neophobia. I also have trouble finishing full meals sometimes, and

Anyone else get down weighing themselves more than once a week?
Hi. First of all, I KNOW I should not have done it! I KNOW it is bad for my moral to weigh myself more once a week but also at a different time of the day! I can't explain why I did it, I've been feeling physically better and more energised this week but still decided to jump on the scales 2 full days

Has anyone experience of Ospemifene
Hi I am interested to hear of anyones experience of taking the oral tablet Ospemifene and does it help with atrophy. Is it available in the UK? I am unable to use vagifem and estriol; the discharge burns and causes so much discomfort. I am due to see a pelvic floor dermatologist in a couple of days
