Dear 'Fellow Foody's',
Today I made a Mushroom Soup, I had a Huge Pack of Mushrooms- I didn't expect this many, when I ordered 'A Pack'! (I estimate, that I have, about Three Pints of soup- I'm currently Cooling it- and I'm now going to actually measure it. I have now Measured it... I wasn't far out... almost exactly Two and Three Quater Pints.... Pretty 'Close' huh🤗.)
Fairly Straightforward Recipe, just the Mushrooms, the Caramellised Onion, some Stock, Skimmed Milk (which I 'hate',) Milk Powder - OLD Emergency Stock, (needs using up!) Oil to cook in, some flour to thicken and, not forgetting, a little White Pepper.... Never make soup without this, not ever!
How was 'It'? Delicious!, a lovely 'Soft' flavour.... I shouldn't Blow My Own Trumpet... but I give this Eight, out of Ten (if it were someone else's, maybe nine.)
Overall a Very High 'Yum Yum' rating😀.
