Where do I start?
Hey guys need some advice. I am wanting to loose some weight I've put on but I'm struggling with ideas for low calorie meals etc to get me going and finding the energy to exercise. I work from 4am to late afternoon and often finish work exhausted (it's a job with a lot of heavy lifting deliveries etc

so disheartened
Hi everyone, I have honestly been so good for the past 2 weeks but after week 1 my weight had stayed the same and now week 2 I've put on 1lb 4ozs. I really was looking forward to getting on the scales as I felt like I'd lost weight, my clothes felt looser so I don't understand and now the thought of

Small non-scale triumph
I've been following a low carb diet since joining but gave into craving for sugar yesterday evening by following dinner with a couple of biscuits and cakes. Miraculously though I stopped myself after the couple and logged them. Usually when I blow a diet I go all out and then I quit, embarrassed by my

Does anyone on here feel defeated by your appearance ? I am overweight, old, and feel very ugly most days. I mean I know I am a pretty nice person, but I have struggled with my weight since I was 8 yrs. old. I also have a history of anorexia 2 times in my life.

Freaking out
I'm working to recover and I am freaking out because I am putting on weight. Now there is the rational, logical side of me that knows this is ridiculous, I have a long way to go before I am clinically 'fat', but then there is the horrific disordered brain that notices every extra pound and views every

Starting again as enough is enough
I checked my profile on this site this morning to see when I signed up and was shocked to find that a year had passed already and in that time I've put even more weight on. I'm now trying to find motivation to get myself sorted out. I'm annoyed and disappointed that I've let myself get like this. I've

Eye opener
I just watched a video on Youtube that left me in absolute tears.... but in a good way. If you suffer from Bulimia look up a video called 'The photo everyone with an eating disorder should see'. There is an awful graphic image in it, but the ultimate message is so positive. Love and hugs x

How do I get my boobs back?
I am recovering from anorexia and so far I have gained about 3kg. My breasts went from a D to an A cup, or even smaller during my time with an eating disorder. I am currently in a calorie surplus (well, I think) eating around 1700-2500 calories a day. It averages at about 2000 or so. I know I have gained

Nature of the urge to move and other ramblings
What the urge to move actually feels like is something members often describe in their posts. I don't know whether anyone has attempt to classify them according to the type of sensation - electric currenty, tooth-achey - and by location - buttocks, upper arms, feet - and if the sensations differ according

Attempt no. 55 of 2017 to get on track commences!
I've become one of those dreaded yoyo dieting, proclamation making, junk food binning, relapsing, secret eating, self loathing and unhappy beings for whom I once lacked empathy. Ive lost significant weight before through diet and exercise but slipped (hurtled at speed) back to my former state. I havent

Feeling chuffed...
Yesterday I decided to try preparing meals in advance for lunch so I didn't overeat or end up eating something unhealthy to avoid wasting too much time making something. I got these nice tupperware boxes and then made an 'Italian' salad (I improvised)... So there's 50g of brown pasta, parma ham, red

I think I have RLS, but not had it diagnosed as yet. I had very bad accident last September which resulted in me breaking humerus collarbone 8 ribs and punctured lung. I have been on Oxycodone slow release sine September 16 and have been weaning myself off this. Gone from 80mg a day to 10mg a day

Am I doing this right? Thought I would be hungrier and missing out on food.
Not a specific problem, just wondering aloud. When I decided to get healthier I thought I would be hungrier, I thought it would be tougher. I promised I would write down everything that passed my lips, and I've been pretty damn good at keeping that promise. If I can't find an exact match for calories

So I'm new to this, I'm really keen on losing weight as I hate my body shape, can't wear nice things & I won't buy new clothes. Over the past 3 years I've gone from being overweight, to anorexic, to big (very nearly overweight) again. I would like to find a healthy balance that allows me to stay fit

Starting afresh
Hello! After a long time, I've decided it's about time I tried to lose some weight. I've just turned 24, and at 5'3, I am classed as very obese. In the past three years, I've put on so much weight - I was in an horrible relationship and ate a lot as a form of comfort; and even though I'm really happy

Last day of Week 1, quick update and ramblings.
Just thought the last day of my first week on the 12 week plan was as good a time as any to take stock and see how it's going. Long story short, I can do this! With 7 days (nearly) done the calorie counting, at first a chore, has now fallen into routine. I'm logging stuff as I eat it in my tally book
