Anyone have any tips for anything vaguely healthy that I can fill my cupboards & fridge with? (Oh, and suggestions of carrot sticks just

I am interested if anyone has tried various therapies such as reflexology, reiki, aromatherapy, to help with either their asthma or other health problems. I have been told that i am not a suitable candidate for reflexology by a qualified practioner which is disappointing. I have had reiki although it

Vitamin D/Calcium or Alendronate (Fosamax)
Because this has sort of come up on the Pred Thread, I thought I would ask who is prescribed what for their anti Pred bone thinning med regimen. Have you been put on AdCal D3, Fosamax, Calci-Chew or anything else. It is always good to know what the current trend is. If you know your T score and degree

FAO The Weight Loss Gang a Quick Query
Without reading all 287 posts, I take it it's quite difficult to shed weight with the drugs you're taking? Can anyone enlighten me which are the worst? As I have been trying for a little while now but it's not shifting, I'm on accuhaler Seretide 250 and salbutamol. Either that or I'm not trying hard

Can being underweight affect asthma?
I am underweight and have had a flare up of asthma over the last two years or so, which still isn't back to normal although it seems to be improving. I have had an eating disorder in the past and am still underweight although I have gained enough weight back to not be worryingly thin anymore, and I eat

Bone Marrow Transplants
I know this is off topic, but I think it is something that is really important. Adrian Sudbury started a petition to make it compulsory for kids to learn about bone marrow and plateleys donation. He's trying to get to 10,000 signitures by the 23rd of this month! Give him a hand people! http://petitions.pm.gov.uk
