Does Anyone Have Expanded Bile Ducts?
According to my last several imaging tests I have an expanded bile duct. Is this normal for the disease? I am scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound in a few weeks to take a better look at it. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there any thing they can do for it? Or are we just spending

Stomach problems
Hi, I've started to SI once a week about 3,5 months ago. I went downhill very fast (existing symptoms getting worse) after our move to Singapore. Somehow, my body can't deal with the climate and I get joint/muscles aches/inflammation all over my body and my knees get very tired very quick. But I think

We did an
endoscopy
that turned up clean and normal. But his RBC has continued to drop. He got 2 full bags of condensed RBCs for a transfusion cause he was down to heart attack levels. For now he is improving; he’s not as tired, heart beat has gone back to normal.

More bad news "Hiatus Hernia"
Hi everyone, yesterday I had an endoscope shoved down my gut to see why I was regergating my food and yup hiatus hernia. Cant say I'm happy about it but at least its been diagnosed as I have been getting acid reflux on and off for over 30 years. This has stopped since eating a plant based diet but if

Question of possible reversal or continued healing
Alcohol was determined the cause and was immediately removed-actually before the
endoscopy
was preformed as I felt pretty ill. My labs normalized within 4 months and I was put on Xifaxan and Nadalol. I have now been symptom free for almost 2 years and honestly feel great.

Really struggling with possible IBS
I have been referred to the gastro and I am awaiting a date for an
endoscopy
and colonoscopy, as my mother has chron's disease so they want to be thorough.

Silent Reflux after Lung Surgery for Early Cancer
I've had an
endoscopy
that found only mild gastritis. I take Esomeprazole daily and Gaviscon Advance but still have the symptoms ie rasping breathing, sometimes becoming breathless, cough, sore throat, very occasional heartburn.

Silent Reflux, or maybe not??
I have had 3 visits to an ear nose and throat clinic and had the camera up my nose and into my throat plus an
endoscopy
to look further down all the tests showed nothing remarkable. so, the doctors diagnosed me with Silent reflux and told me to take 15 mg lansoprozil and gaviscon advanced as and when

Nameless Hospital from hell
Unfortunately we are not supposed to name and shame medical establishments on this platform so i will call Tameside general hospital never, never land for the purpose of this review. After diligently standing in a queue to book into the walk in centre given that there are people in more immediate need

Upper right abdomen, armpit, and back pain related to alcohol?
My GP referred me to a gastroenterologist, who gave me an
endoscopy
of my stomach. It came back normal. I was also given a fibroscan which came back at a reading of 6.0 which I was told is also normal.

IBD
Went to GI, they did CAT scan with constrast, colonoscopy and
endoscopy
and they said the only thing they saw was interneal hemorroids which was a cause of blood in a stool. After that I have never had blood again.

Question about imaging and biopsies
I was diagnosed in May with Stage IV de novo breast cancer to my GI tract after two different endoscopies showed cancer in two places in my stomach from the biopsies. They did two endoscopies to be sure, and I’ve had a second opinion on the pathology. All imaging, including PET/CT, mammogram, ultrasound

My Reflux and other things that are TMI
Short story, got an
endoscopy
which showed an esophageal and pyloric stricture. They dilated my esophagus and I can drink again! Soft food tomorrow. It’s not more cancer!!!! I may need stents but having gone thru
endoscopy
once, and it was a breeze, I don’t care. It’s mechanical not cancer.
