Varices
I have scans every 6 months and tomorrow I’m having an
endoscopy
to check for varice’s I’m so worried and wondered if anyone else has varices . My scan was fine and I feel well but my Bilirubin was 33 this time on bloods . Not sure if that’s really high and if it’s a sign of varices .

Help needed in long term effects of RAI for Graves Disease, long term use of Levothyroxine and how I go about transitioning to NDT.
I had numerous blood tests that led to no findings and at the start of this year I had a gastroscopy and
endoscopy
, again with normal results.

Portal hypertension
I have felt poorly since and in feb 2020 went for
endoscopy
. Discovered varicies in stomach too. I was referred to stomach specialist but seemed to slip through the net. After chasing hospital, I was informed, in September, I have portal hypertension and was prescribed beta blockers.

Oedema?!..not sure
Anyway, I have had an
endoscopy
and have grade 2 varices and had my blood tested which I am waiting for. I have recently had bulging veins in my lower legs and they are starting to swell too, I get dizzy spells and assume it is all blood pressure related ?!...

NASH - how long before early cirrhosis becomes stage 4?
However my
endoscopy
was clear. I have dropped 24 pounds in 3 months with keto(low carb) and don’t have much more I could even lose. Off low dose metformin for diabetes.

Phlegm in abundance for nearly two years. Is there any known condition that causes this much phlegm over a long period without diagnosis?
I have had extensive swallowing tests and one botox treatment (
Endoscopy
by my GE) . Sinuses have been X-rayed but no CT scan. Sin None of the drugs I have listed seem to help. I am trying to eliminate Gluten from my diet, but even my oatmeal results in more phlegm. !

Should I push for a colonoscopy sooner?
I’ve already had a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
done few years ago and they said there was irritation but that was it and to eat better. I went to the doctor again bc I knew the laxatives would eventually make things worse.

Grading of varices
I find the
endoscopy
/gagging reflex very hard to tolerate. Also- would these grade 3 varices add to my UKELD score, which stands currently at 46? I have had one bleed 2+ years ago, but it had stopped bleeding when they did the
endoscopy
2+y ago, so they didn't take any further action then.

Portal Hypertension at F2
At my yearly
Endoscopy
, I was diagnosed with Grade II esophageal varices which led to the diagnosis of portal hypertension. I wasn't expecting this since all indications are that my liver is recovering. All bloodwork is normal and my Fib-4 score is 0.84.

Lpr- anyone done a peptest
I had a MRI clear and throat
endoscopy
though the guy who did it said all was normal and I had strep throat. The pain isn't near the vocal cords its more at the back of the throat near were my tonsils are. I sent for a peptest which showed I had high levels of pepsin.
