Hi guys. I am just symptom checking here. My symptoms just seem so odd to have been diagnosed with Endo. Anyway - my pain starts just before I get my period. It shoots through my back and I get the most unbearable cramping, then heavy bleeding passing clots, as well as irritable bowel syndrome and I feel so sick! My severe pain becomes somewhat bearable after my period, however I have really upset GI symptoms like nausea and bloating, plus irritated intestines right up until I ovulate. When I ovulate I get the pain back. Is this normal for endometriosis? I’ve had a colonoscopy and endoscopy btw which came back fine.

Yes so these are all possible symptoms of endo. Depending on where the endo is and how much there is it can effect what pain you get where. So the fact you have hi issues could point to endo being on the bowels. Only way to get a confirmed diagnosis is by a laproscopracy (key holes surgery) as it doesn't always show on scans.

Hi yes this is signs of gynae problems, possibly endometriosis or adenomyosis or both. You need a lap to diagnose Endo and an MRI to diagnose adenomyosis. I hope you have a supportive GP x
