Losing the plot
We are currently travelling to Leeds for my partner to have his routine
endoscopy
, and the appointment/procedure letter has gone completely missing so running on faith hereš. I've been thinking lately, that living with serious illness in the house is like living with a playground bully.

IBD
I underwent
endoscopy
and colonoscopy 4 months ago and on
endoscopy
I was diagnosed with ulcer and hernia. The colonoscopy report was normal. I am continuing ulcer medicine. But for a while, a pinch of pain was felt on or near the side of my navel, sometimes it happens, but not for a while.

Need advice
I'm awaiting a colonoscopy,
endoscopy
& stomach scan since last October. In that time, I've had 4 or 5 episodes. I live in Spain so they only prescribe one drug and it's Euthyrox (as far as I know).

General Anaesthetics for Pulmonary-Hypertension patients
Hi there. I'm new to this community. I've just been referred to a Pulmonary-Hypertension consultant by my Cardiologist as my latest Echocardiogram says I have "intermediate probability of pulmonary hypertension", along with "moderate mitral valve regurgitation". My question relates to General Anaesthetics

Results of a Manometry not taken serious, am I being silly
I was sent reluctantly by dr to have a
endoscopy
and just showed the Barrettās. I was then sent for a Manometry which showed 100% failed peristalsis on swallows and my lower oesophagus sphincter was hypotension.

Anal leakage - Does anyone have this problem and how are you handling it
January 2022
endoscopy
Radiation Proctitis (radiation damage to small intestine). Anal leakage for over a year. Yellow color sometimes clear. No advance warning. Putrid odor. What to do? Covid shortage of ingredients for sucralfate enemas. What to eat? What to avoid?

Follow up appointment worries
Hi, I had
endoscopy
done around 7 weeks ago, they banded two haemorrhoids and removed a polyp. They said they would send the polyp off for testing. I was told that I would likely get a telephone follow up appointment.

Struggling today
Hi all, Had an
endoscopy
today as I have been having more and more issues with getting food stuck ( I have limited scleroderma). They couldnāt get a vein so had to have one without sedation and it was horrible.

TSH going down instead of up with lowering of levothyroxine
I have had a complete gastro workup, including bloodwork, an
endoscopy
, and a CT scan but there is no diagnosis. I had some relief after being put on 40 mg a day of esomeprazole in December but now the malaise has returned.

New to cirrhosis, very scared!
I'm going to ask, when may he have an
endoscopy
to establish if he has varicies and/or ascites, what stage of cirrhosis, compensated or decompensated, does he get a biopsy, he should see a dietitian, he's had bloods done last week, his results from January's bloods were highlighted by an * beside them

Nervous about my upcoming 12 month review
I had a six month review and my bloods were all back to normal and my
endoscopy
showed two minor varicies. He was very pleased. Now itās my 12 month review at the end of this month. Iāve had my bloods taken this week and my ultrasound scan.
