Brand new, out of the box
Go to an integral functional medicine doctor and everything becomes more clear - blood tests have shown that you’re severly iron deficient, your body isn’t absorbing nurtrients (why), your deficient in Vitamin D too; next thing to do is go for a colonoscopy,
endoscopy
, biopsy for celiacs and an ultrasound

Yellow/Sticky Bowel Movements And Abdominal Pain
One thinks it is IBS, while the other does not and ordered an
endoscopy
. I had an ultrasound (normal) and liver/kidney/inflammation tests (normal) The only clue I have besides pain is the fatty stool. I feel like it means indigestion at pancreas level. Anyone face similar issues?

My colonoscopy experience
I turn to this site for lots of advice and reassurance so I thought I would report on my colonoscopy and
endoscopy
to reassure anyone who has been referred for the same.

Could this be PA? And side effects of B12 shots?
And at
endoscopy
5 years ago I had 'mild gastritis', What I would like to know is: Could I be developing PA? Do I need more tests now for the gastric cell and intrinsic factor antibodies? Is it possible to develop PA and the antibodies over 3 years?

Another autoimmune disease or just the thyroid?

Endoscopy
, Manometry, CT Scan of Thoracic Area, Chest and Abdomen, and lots of X-rays). I feel constantly like I'm on the verge of a heart attack because of the breathing difficulties.

Perimenopause-Menopause Hell
I'm new here, and this is my first post. So, I've just discovered from my recent blood results about 6 weeks or go ago, that I have gone from the perimenopuse stage to the menopause stage. Fortunately I don't seem to be suffering the typical symptoms such as night sweats or hot flushes, but I have

Pre Angiogram Symptoms
I had an
endoscopy
a few weeks back to check for throat and stomach problems but it came back clear. I can't say I actually have chest pain, just discomfort. I always imagined if there was a heart problem then the pain would be quite bad. Even the cardiologists said it doesn't sound like angina.

Update on My Father's Cirrhosis - Seems Stable
It was followed by
Endoscopy
where grade 3 varices were diagnosed. He never had bleeding, but doctors recommended banding, so he had it done in 3 sessions and during last one doc said he will no longer need banding, this should be it.

Diagnosis of achalasia
The diagnostic tests are typically a) an
endoscopy
- a miniature camera passed down your throat - to check on whether there are any physical obstructions that account for the swallowing problems; b) a barium swallow test - where the patient swallows a white liquid whilst being x-rayed; and c) a manometry

New diagnosis for my abdomen pain
My GI doctor Did an
endoscopy
on me, and discovered that I have a gigantic ulcer in my small intestine. The largest he ever saw in the area. So the mystery of my intense pain is solved! I'm happy to know it's not Crohn's disease. He's just treating with meds, and it seems to be helping.

Coeliac still showing symptoms
Between my initial visit to the doctor and the
endoscopy
(which confirmed coeliac disease) the pains I was having had totally disappeared despite me continuing to eat a gluten containing diet.

Is it reflux? Or what is it? Please!
I’m now waiting for
endoscopy
which I feel I want to cry if I think about it. Is it actually reflux? And if it’s, why lansoprazol and ranitidine did the help? Is it going to be forever? What’s going on? Any other tablets can someone suggest? It’s so depressing, no idea what to do.

My gastrointerologist did a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
in one day. The only thing he found was is several polyps in my abdomen. Which he lanced but we’re benign. I was also diagnosed with acid reflux. I was taking omeperazole but discontinued.

Meds for Gastritis from IBrance?
My wife has fairly severe stomach upset, bloating and her
endoscopy
showed gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining). There was no h-pylori or celiac, so her endo feels it’s from one of her medicines.
