Non specific gastritis, I’m not really sure what that means! 😏
Recently I’ve had oesophageal and stomach biopsies taken during
endoscopy
. They found grade b oesophagitis and 2 chronic ulcers during
endoscopy
, my biopsy results were non specific gastritis. Does anyone know if this means I don’t have autoimmune gastritis?

Acid Reflux, PPI's After PMR. Advice Please.
I’m scheduled for an
endoscopy
tomorrow (Friday) If he diagnoses some kind of gastric condition, I’m guessing he will probably prescribe PPI’s in an even higher dose. ( I haven't been taking them for the last 3 weeks) I am reading almost every week of studies telling of the dangers of long term use

Autoimmune gastritis due to PA
I have to go back now soon for a follow up
endoscopy
and colonoscopy as colon cancer ruins in my family. Its scary how you can have all this going on and only for my doctor recommended an
endoscopy
I would of never known. Does anyone else have autoimmune gastritis due to b12?

Why if you have nausea from acid reflux does eating (temporary) help?
Now it's acute and won't response to anti acid medication so having an
endoscopy
next Wednesday. So in the beginning I thought the nausea it was something I ate. Eating something again helped temporary not to feel sick.So why does it help?

IBS: Starting a journey to win back my life.
I have had an
endoscopy
done which showed gastritis. I also now suffer with diarrhoea. Tonight I have felt fine until eating some flapjack which has caused my whole upper stomach to go into agony, bubbles in stomach, wind.

Portal hypertension
I'm being referred for a capsule
endoscopy
but before that I need a patency capsule to make sure that it does not get stuck in the bowel. They still don't know the reason for my recurrent bouts of anaemia.

Cortisol through the roof !!! Please help
I had an

but everything looked normal. I've suffered with tinnitus (ringing ears) for years but the past year it is especially loud and unbearable at times.

They tried treating these with antibiotics and pain medicine, and they tried removal of the stones via
endoscopy
. They want to avoid giving her a general anesthetic because general anesthesia frequently induces rapid progression in patients with PSP and other progressive cognitive disorders.

Newbie needs advice
Said that he would give him ct and
endoscopy
in morning to rule anything else out. In morning I get text from hubby to say they had now decided to give an iron infusion instead. Was told this would take 4/5 hours and he could go home afterwards. Late afternoon they start infusion.

INR High - feeling fed up!
There are still blood traces in my urine, so got to have an
endoscopy
next week.......my INR's were 3.9 this morning (at the surgery).
Endoscopy
dept said they will only do it, if i can get them down to less than 3 by next Monday!! Wondered if the AB's caused this soar, or the infection itself?

How to get rid of hydrocephalus if CSF is infected.I am thinking VP shunt is not an option at this point.Patient is my mom,51. From India.
Admit since 22/8. Symptoms were a severe headache, multiple vomiting. An EVD shunt was placed back on 24/8. Post it was removed, there was a good sign of recovery until she got infections everywhere - in blood, in urine, in trachea, in CSF. We Stayed in that hospital for almost 48 days until we lost
