I would like to ask a question to DBS patients from US. How much is the DBS surgery cost? Thanks for your replies.

School refusing to provide 5 year old gluten free meal.
I need advise.... My daughter is 5 and has to have a gluten free diet. The school are not willing to provide a Gluten free lunch. The government states the all children under 7 will be provided with a hot meal. It didn't say ' unless they have a medical condition'. This is discrimination and my 5 year

Can't run.
Boooo! Right leg is sore and I've got this sciatic thing going off when I extend it. Using Ibuprofen gel and Deep Heat but I'm stalled at Week 8 having completed run one on Monday. FRUSTRATED!!! And really want to go on and finish but I know it's not sensible to do so.

Rapid decline after DBS?
Good morning, My dad had DBS just over two weeks ago now. He had the leads placed two weeks ago this past Friday, and then the battery placed this past Wednesday. He has struggled mightily since the surgery. He seemed to have been in rapid decline since approximately April, and now we are at wits end

Gluten free foods...anyone experienced feeling better on a gluten free diet?
We've recently tried baking etc with gluten free flours and after hearing stories from some patients with SLE and Hughes Syndrome (like myself), I was wondering whether to cut out all wheat and gluten products? Has anyone tried a gluten free diet and if so, what were the effects ( positive & negative
