Just wondering if high dose thiamine is helpful for people who have had DBS? I contacted dr. Constantini regarding this issue, but I did not get a response from him. Tyia

I have reported my DBS to him and it was not an issue.

MarciAC4,

Dr. Costantini has previously stated that HDT is compatible with DBS and as far as dosing goes, HDT will be the same whether you have DBS or not. Here is a link to the HDT FAQ page. Look at question and answer number 45 :

Dr, C.

Didn’t

Say the B1 would be a problem when I wrote to him.

sorry, but I have to ask (as I am considering DBS)...did your DBS not provide the results it was supposed to? what are you hoping to relieve with B1?

Hi,

DBS has been a life saver for me. I had lost so much weight that I really didn’t have a choice. After DBS I have gained nearly 20 pounds (a good thing). I don’t want to get back to where I was. I’m sure that you realize that DBS is not a cure. HDT taunts stopping progression. That is my main reason for being interested. I will say that DBS hasn’t been the cure all that I had hoped. But I am much better than before. Yes I would do it again.
