Long standing AF new to this forum
When discussing this originally it was conclude that because I did a lot of
cycling
at amateur level when younger, I over did it one time and this caused the AF. I am used to being very fit, first with
cycling
, later sailing and in my work as a courier I regularly do 10000 to 15000 steps a day.

May I have the benefit of your advice please....
Stopped
cycling
in case it was something like carpal tunnel. Almost permanent dull headache. Finally made appt. to see GP at end of October, but came out with shingles rash the day before, so she treated that and said needed to be clear of shingles before further investigations.

4 rules for exercising with osteoporosis
While swimming and
cycling
have many benefits, they don’t provide the weight-bearing load your bones need to slow mineral loss. However, if you enjoy these activities, do them. Just be sure to also add weight-bearing activity as you’re able.

Does this sound like bipolar
They happen quickly back and forth much of most days like rapid
cycling
and i can still sleep and function. Not sure, maybe its my thoughts that are creating this although i was diagnosed with bipolar by four different doctors throughout the years. I am most of all anxious w / panic attacks.

Lost and desperate
I had
cycling
panic attacks for 24 hours. I shake uncontrollably due to stress. I am an addict and clean 88 Days, but my wife said she can’t handle it. No trust. My mind will not get off my soulmate. I am as low as I have ever been.

Is Garmin heart rate monitoring accurate?
I started C25k in August last year having done no exercise other than a bit of
cycling
to get about in my teens. I run about 3 times a week, nothing very impressive, a maximum of 9 miles for my longest runs, but usually a modest 4 miles. I am no athlete!

Osteoporosis and Coeliac Disease
I have always been very active - walking and
cycling
everywhere and I have a physical job where I am on my feet and walking all day so I find this really depressing. It also makes me very nervous of having a fall. I will be starting treatment for this but would be grateful for any advice.

My progression is stopped for now. Here's my regimen update 1. How I stopped SCA1.
Not
cycling
, not weight training, not dancing, but treadmill running or fast walking.

My alternative therapy for SCA1.
That means not 70% heart rate, not 20 minutes, not
cycling
and not boxing, but 30 minutes on a treadmill at 80% max heart rate.

A bit of a blip
I had severe pain on both sides of my right knee for several days after my last run - W5R2 for the second time (I'm treating each of the runs in W5 as a week), so I went to my GP and a sports physiotherapist, both of whom said that I have arthritis, and that perhaps I should take up

Help and support with the Active 10 app
Does the app register any other type of physical activity, e.g. running or
cycling
? To show the amount of brisk walking you are doing, the app uses the sensors on your phone. These sensors can sometimes register movement from other forms of activity such as
cycling
or running.

Budd-Chiari Syndrome & Portal Vein Thrombosis
I was getting very short of breath with even mild exercise ( brisk walking,
cycling
etc) which lead to a heart condition and am now supposed to be taking Carvedilol too, since the last four year.

Does Mannitol work?
Am very active playing golf (walking) 4 times a week and
cycling
3 times (15 miles). Taking Mannitol and all symptoms have gone except a slight tremor in RH leg when stressed.

Saying a sad farewell to running
Rowing,
cycling
(bum on seat) and swimming (crawl, once I have master it) will be the cardio I can do. I was really sad I could no longer run but am thinking positively about new ways to exercise and I am thankful for health and opportunity for new experiences.

Negative ANA, Positive DS-DNA, Elevated CRP-HS and low white blood cells
I was an athlete, now I have a hard time doing short walks or
cycling
once or twice a week. For the last 3-4 years, I have been feeling tremendous fatigue, brain fog, complete lack of energy /motivation.

More of us out there...
Doing some rough maths, if 1-2% of the population will get AF, and sports people are 5 times more likely to get it, that means 5-10% of any running /
cycling
club will get it, which makes it one of the most common “sports injuries”.
